Hamling has done a hamstring and is TBA
Sturt is listed as a test for his knee for some reason. He looked fine the other day

Where would Nat play when he comes back? Has anyone had a bad back injury and returned to playing midfield?
This is a snippet from an article on Perthnow. Mundy with some wise words.

“I think as the weeks go by he is probably seeing the results on field and having a bit more trust in the group and understanding of where we’re going and certainly he is a super, super competitor and I don’t think it matters when he gets fit where he going to play,” he said.

Matthew Johnson was 3-4 weeks last week too. Is this gonna be another freddy situation where he's 3-4 weeks for the entire season?

I swear when the initial injury occurred he was projected to be available for round 1 or 2.
It was but then about a month later it wasn’t improving with conservative approach so they had to go the surgical route.

The surgery he had is around 8-12 week recovery.

To me the injury report reads like they need another week of recovery for Freo to update the injury list with more accurate information.

Hopefully looks like this next week:
INJURY LIST ROUND 8
Sean Darcy (concussion) - Test
Neil Erasmus (concussion) – Test
Matthew Johnson (ankle) – 2-3 weeks
Nat Fyfe (back) - 4-5 weeks
Joel Western (hamstring) - 8-10 weeks

I'm going to assume Western didn't have surgery or they'd have mentioned it.

He will be 2-3 weeks next week for another 2 and the. 1-2 for another 2 so 3-4 is Freo for 6 weeks

The West has Taberner with a possible Hammy

Could be our surprise injury this week

Bugger if true. Hammy's usually spell several weeks out. Time for Treacy to step up and become the forward he's been teasing us with. Would prefer Tabs but if it has to be Treacy, then come on Treacy!! The big guy's got some grunt. Lets get behind him, if he gets the call up.
