We also got a gift right in front of goal in this game (Amiss goal). We also got away with 2 OOBOTF in the first half that should have been free kicks against. The kick after the goal with 30 seconds to go was irrelevant anyway, we weren't going to kick one with 30 seconds left in the game. Game was over as soon as the mark was paid to Cottrell.

The thing about the dissent rule is when they brought it in they were very strict but they have been lax all season. So it feels very selective when they apply it. I see players mouthing off to umps constantly in every game and its rarely ever pinged as harsh as it was there.

Has done absolutely nothing to reduce abuse or umpire drain at community level (despite that being the rationale for it), but has given the overpaid numpties on the league panel another trigger to decide games.

Started with Walters tbh. Why is he hurrying up to kick forward like that? It’s like were chasing the game rather then hold the lead. Some of the decisions were rushed.

I don't think he did, he bent down and was messing with his socks for a bit. Wasn't in a hurry.
