Roberton is far better than Brown.

he is but Roberton is not a Key position defender and thus has less currency and Jones is purely steak knives....
Has TWR said anything about us still being in the building? Just wondering if we are done or if we are still working on things.

Roberton is 4cm shorter than Brown & a much better player
Brown is also contracted. Looks to me like Roberton will be taken as a Rookie, otherwise a late pick would have been done. No point not trading for him and then pick him in the draft anyway, all that does is prolong the agony and risk someone else grabbing him.

Nothing worth getting fired up about but I wouldn't have minded him at Freo.
Really disappointing trading period. I think we really needed to bring in something new to the squad (on top of Pearce) to try and improve. Can't just rely on 18 year old kids from shitty draft picks, when we realistically have the next 2-3 years to win a flag. Could have still brought in some early/mid 20s players who could have an impact next year and still be around for a while.

I think we did OK.
Lost Broughton. Roberton and Pick 60
Gained Pearce, Moller and Pick 37
I think Pearce and Broughton are equal in terms of ability but Pearce suits our needs much more. We got Moller for knicks and lost Robbo for Zip. Pick 37 is better than pick 60.
