We'll take one of Rankine/Walsh/Hill.
Blakey goes to Swans.
Thomas bid will come late first round and we'll use 2nd round plus discount for that.
Scott is picked up with our two third round picks.
Crocker will probably go fourth round.
No deficit.
I'd be equally happy with a lukosius or king twins with our first pick

I'd also pass on scott, so wouldn't be annoyed if he chose the lions or cats instead

I think we'll get pick 3-5 and will be left to choose the best small.
Already sick of your shit about Scott from watching 3 minutes of YouTube though.

Scott could go on to play 200 quality games for the club and Ziebull will still call him a wasted pick...

If Kelly wanted to get to us again all would be forgiven. Would you turn away 2007 Judd because 2004 Judd knocked you back?

If Kelly had come this year it would changed my expectations of the year ahead.

Kelly not coming changed my expectations of us having the currency to get him.

IIRC he still will not be a FA when out of contract next.

I wouldn't knock him back.

Unless they change the rules to FA being 6 years rather than 8.

If he came this year we wouldn’t have LDU and Will Walker and perhaps next years first. I guess it would of been great having Kelly run around in north colours for a mid table finish in 2018. :/

Personally I think given our recruits this year, in time it will show that we are on the right path.

Will say again as I did then... got no issue with JK spending more time at GWS. They've invested plenty in him and if he wants to give more back before leaving then that shows enough character to me. I can understand the grief he gets if he chose to go elsewhere instead of us but he's done the best thing by himself, by GWS and the end of the day will show by North, especially if he comes to a club that's had the resources to build a list he compliments as opposed to one he is the is one of the lone shining lights.

What do the future f/s look like after this years bumper crop

There's not much I can find.

The scum and Port have a lot of the F/S's next year.

I don't think there's much jumping out at the academies at the moment either. From this years under 16 carnival: "Tasmania won just the single game for the carnival and from the outlook it appears to be another bleak draft representation from Tasmania at this early stage."

A touted top 5 player is Noah Anderson (son of Dean) who the Dorks traded after 80 games. Damn shame.:D

Thought as much - just making sure I never missed anyone coming through

That would go one millionth of the way to evening up the score on trading with them.

I would love for Blakey to get the 37 at the Swans,

I hope not. Three North supporters might boo him for not picking us then this would lead to your fans having a mega sookathon about how we are booing Goodes' Holy Number and how we are the biggest racists in the AFL and they are disgusted by us and then stringy vomit would emerge from everybody's toilets and drown us all in an endless sea of Sydney self-righteous wankspew.

Better hope we don't finish 9th on the back of 153 goal final AFL season from Waite

how is Crocker travelling? assuming he has an average year this year what would his draft range be?

I spoke to an older ex player the other week and he believes that Crocker is the pick of father son picks in this draft. He also strongly believes Blakey wants to pick North as his preferred club over Sydney (Brisbane not a chance). Not sure where he got the info from, just passing it on. If all the above is true, I can't wait for 2019 and beyond, exciting stuff.
