Again all of this is speculation, but it’s all we’ve got because our club doesn’t communicate with the supporters anymore. But Bevo probably deserved to be let go after another not just disappointing, but disastrous end of the season. After 9 years the bloke (club legend) is not getting the most out of our players, and is personally cooked himself. But if the assistant coaches are refusing to come to our club because of his reputation, then he is toxic for our club, unemployable in the football world but he remains our head coach??? Against the Giants, the AFL, the media etc. This, on the other hand is a limp, insipid, weak retreat into silence, mediocrity and status quo. We simply need change to move out of our hole we’ve created.

Be patient let's not forget we are doing a review and even got a head start on all other clubs with regards to a review. We are ahead of the game this year unlike last time when we appointed assistants.

Do we have evidence the club is fighting to get out of this rut? Nup. Because we hear stuff all from them (apart from when they're trying to flog something to us)

Do we think we have a Peter Gordon type who will stand up and fight like hell as we did with Griffen/Boyd? Nup.

Do we have a 'why not us?' playing group any more? The evidence says nup.

Trying to be optimistic, but we really do stink. I've only ever jumped off the club once before when Peter Rhode was coach, but I feel as low as I did back then. I will probably still renew my membership, but only because I've been a member for so long, but won't be attending any games.

The sheer arrogance of the club to have zero connection or communication with the supporters since our season concluded is staggering.

Truly disgraceful how this period of the season has been handled by our club. Unfortunately, it is a reflection of the coach and for the management of the club to treat us like this and expect everyone to jump on board and renew their membership is completely misreading the room.

I've reached out to a few people in the industry today to see if anyone has any idea on what we're doing with our assistant coaching roles.

No one I asked, had any idea, either we are guarding the secret to the location of Atlantis or our appointments are so uninspiring the greater-footy world isn't even bothering to take notice.

Either way, this club ain't getting another cent out of me until they show some change off field.

The on and off field reviews were probably done on the Monday after the season finished and they've all been sipping daiquiris by the pool somewhere overseas ever since.

At least that's what I imagine. Given the lack of communication from the club who is to know any different?

The Grand Final has come and gone the season is well and truly over. Where is the communication? This is arrogance, ignorance and incompetence, I don’t know which is higher than the other. Even if they announce Ron Barassi, Jock McHale and Norm Smith tomorrow, at least tell us there are announcements coming up. The pessimism is building that those who go on the ‘list/trade’ thread are worried who is walking out after the end of 2024. I don’t participate on that thread yet because we could get 6 Chris Judds in this years draft, with our coach, coaches and admin, those Chris Judd’s won’t develop or will leave. I don’t care if I don’t hear from the club between November to February, but this part of the season is our set up for 2024, let us know what you are trying to achieve and how we failed and will improve on 2023. Hello Western Bulldogs…do we still exist??

you don't seem to understand how marketing and sponsorship work. I agree they are make awful cars now, but that's not really the point of their agreement. They are trying to build a brand and will get better over time, just like Kia did. They made xcels when starting with Carlton.

This sounds like a great deal for the Saints and it would be nice if we managed to get another big sponsor prepared to tip in funds over the long term as Mission have for us.
