Timeline starts at a fortunate time for us. If it started from 2011 obviously we drop right back to the pack.

Bevo is a good coach, probably a great one? But he is a poor selector and has always been so.
He ran out Mathew Boyd for sentiment in picking a cooked Bob Murphy all 2017. He has been poor with West tonight and Garcia this year. Gallagher has played tonight but is not ready. McNeill over West is bizarre.

Too many losses when it counts.

Seems like the boys love him, but countless times we’ve lost to a worse team when it matters.

West coast and hawthorn last year.

Hawthorn and Freo in both our recent EF and before that Saints and Giants in EF with a humiliating GF loss in between.

Lost to Hawthorn 3 times the same way and still no adjustments. Letting Sicily and Newcombe kill us with no accountable. Went way too slow with Harmes, Daniel and Macare selected. No plan B.

Thanks for 2016 Bevo, but I’m fully out now.

Yeah, I converted right back again as we started doing everything differently and found our right balance.

Tonight has just been a case of old habits all coming back and it’s torched us. Close to the worst we’ve looked all year.

Look forward to the spin on a first week finals loss, missing the 8 then another first week belting all following a GF appearance.

Now 2-5 in elimination finals. And we started favourites in 4 of those 5 losses. With performances like this combined with 2019 and 2020s poor finals, people will continue to question if Bevo is the right person.

Great to constantly make finals, but it’s all for nothing if you keep going out week 1.

For all Bevo’s brilliance he has some massive blind spots that others are meant to fill. But he must dominate their thinking and get his way all the time? Not playing West was called out yesterday and seen for its failure today. Garcia should have been in already, but he is continually fighting for his place in the VFL. His ego is good at times and terrible in others. When ego goes beyond ability it creates problems. Bevo has a flag, that can’t be taken away. But his ego is as big as Sam Mitchell’s, but Sam is twice the coach at the moment, Bevo needs some humility.

Deserves next year based on the second half of the season but any extension before round 12 to see a sample of the season and progress would be a massive mistake

I spoke of his 3 flaws a few months back and I reckon all 3 reared their head again tonight.

1) Poor selection and playing favourites.

2) No plan B when things go wrong in game.

3) Refusal to tag.

We're reaching port Adelaide levels of finals choking and I can't see that changing under Bevo.

Cats and Hawks showed this week how important a coach is.

God no, we can't do another season like this.

I would give him 6 rounds max. If we have lost 3 or more, show the door. We are going to go on a decline with our mids very quickly, we don't have anymore time to be shuffling the magnets every QTR
