James Kelly into the midfield.

His numbers in the last 6 weeks or so are every bit as good as any of those listed midfielders (perhaps Hase aside).

I think Mitchell can be a 25 touch a game, 15 games a year midfielder, if he can find consistency in his game. Is that 'topline' or not quite on the same standard as the aforementioned onballers.

forgot about thornton and kelly....

Backline:
Luke McPharlin
Matt Maguire
Jared Rivers
Bret Thornton

This post seems to me to state only the obvious players who will be top liners or at least decent players, what about some potential top liners that haven't really been uncovered yet that are playing on AFL lists?

I'd suggest someone list Jarad Rooke that really came from nowhere. Any players at your club? At my club I think Brent Hall will be a star.

To classfify Rooke in the same class as Rahilly and Spriggs is wrong, Rooke is alot better than them. Why I mentioned Rooke because he has the potential to be a quality defender despite not playing TAC Cup because the recruiting managers at the North Ballarat Rebels thought he wasn't good enough.

McPhee has everything you could want for a top line utility. He's still only 21 and is improving every week. If he keeps going he'll win back-to-back most improved player awards at Essendon which will be an awesome effort.

who did freo get in exchange for him - or did they lose him outright.

Essendon got McPhee via a 3 way trade with Brisbane,

Blake Caracella + pick 60something to Brisbane from Essendon

Des Headland to fremantle fron Brisbane

Damien Cupido from Brisbane and Adam McPhee from Fremantle to Essendon

Who has been better BoonGood? I find it hard to phathom a better player than Kelly that isn't included in the list at the beginning of this thread.

And i thought Yze_Tragic rated Melbourne players unbelievably highly.

Name a better 19 year old CHB.

Rivers will be one of the premier defenders in a few years time once he bulks up.

At the moment he is 192 or 193cm and 88kg. Just wait til he gets to around the 93-94kg mark.
