But he's not an FA. At the minute as an RFA we could make him walk to the PSD .
Which is why Hawthorn won't get him. We'll match their offer and they'll have to trade with us or he'll end up in Queensland. Hawthorn have nothing to trade, no first round picks, no players in particular I want from their list instead of Fyfe.

Why not? Fremantle often gets an extra "e" put in by Victorians.
Anyway, I prefer to call them the Lannisters, because everyone knows the Lannisters shit gold.

Haha I doubt many, if any, would put an extra 'e' on Fremantle.

Not sure on the GOT reference. But yes, Hawthorn is a destination club filled with a rich history of success and an enviable culture. I believe you guys actually sort out some intellectual property from HFC such is the regard they are held in.

Is that the same club that nearly merged with Melbourne to stay solvent not many years ago and the same club that took many years to win their first flag? All clubs struggle at times and to believe otherwise is plain dumb. Selective memory can be a wonderful thing.

I wouldn't mind you as my spokesperson. Very articulate point. Anyone that thinks Hawthorn has been blessed should refer to your comments. The club was on it's knees before riding a wave of success.

super player, has got pretty much everything. Capped off by dominating a grand final while playing with a broken leg, that only happens in corny movies! Unfortunatley that may have cost him the next season (as in 2016 season).

He dominated a prelim with a broken leg - but we still lost, thanks to a Hawthorn player called Stevic.

Yes, I love Fyfe. Have since his first year. And I get to see him live 11 times a year and at training.
Would like Fremantle to implement the FBP (Fyfe Breeding Programme) so we can have a dozen Fyfes running around in 20 years.

But the best ever? He will need to drag us to more than just a minor premiership for that to be the right call. Plus get more Brownlows (or close), and play over 250 games.

Fair enough, to go down in history have to do it over several seasons. but in terms of his best games so far, and number of great games and consistency in a season, it's hard to imagine anyone that's played better and been as unstoppable. Darryl Baldock was amazing - but didn't heve the enormous power, or the height and marking ability. Hird lacked the power and I think the speed.
IN terms of my tribe, would have been a treat to see Fyfe and Buckley head to head, don't think I've ever known Bucks to be beaten man-on-man. completely shut down wayne carey the couple of times he played on him.

Well he's good, but that's a pretty big rap.
I've watch footy for 45 years. Every ( great ) player brings something different . However I have never watched a player and just feel he will keep the ball in play or beat 3 people . It's not everytime he gos near the ball but just two or three times a game. The only other time I can relate it to is Jim and Phil playing at the much hated local Tigers.
I don't think we have ever seen such a strong, tall and skilled player. Maybe not the best yet , but he is only 24 .
