Easy to misconstrue the potent alchemical mix of commitment and aspiration the likes of Pavlich and Fyfe have.
They're not piddlers.
These blokes epitomise strength, ambition and determination to succeed.
They don't commit for a small transitional experiment.
They commit to dedicating their considerable athletic, footballing and professional momentum to the club's overall strategic direction and to work in tandem with the growth and ambition the organisation has embraced and is enacting.
They are proud, world class acts.Educated in their market value and potential influence.
Fyfe will employ his enormous talent and extreme dedication to amplify the club's momentum and create a force with slipstream, making it attractive for others to join and contribute to further growth and development on and off.
I'm gonna stop bothering to say this but Fyfe will be Freo's next Pav.
He'll share similar levels of influence, values, the insight, analysis, the onfield leadership. They are of course different but what they share is a desire to help build and create something they are central to.
These blokes want to help drag their club over the line by the force of their personality and talent.
They don't sign off and give up.
They're stayers as part of their DNA so it becomes part of their "brand".
Men of integrity, who know it has to be hard to be worth it.

But let's face it, he should have two Brownlow medals right now.
A corrupt AFL denied him in 2014 and this is early in his career . He could be even better now he is going to have more talent around him.

I wouldn't say his Brownlow window is closed, but Neale, Blakeley and Bennell will get a lot of votes over the next few seasons.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, this is a load of wank.

I actually think woods will finish 4th or 5th and I'm not at all biased of course.
but GWS and dogs will probably dominate, not sure who will get the minor - probably GWS because dogs obviously are finals specialists.
FReo def will make the 8 esp if Fyfe can regain former glory.

I remember watching the game vs North when they were flying, as was Fyfe. He kicked 4 and got 30 odd possessions.

Our team will improve this year, especially if Fyfe, Bennell, Mundy etc play most of the year but we were still 0-4 last year with most of they playing.

We need a large improvement from our bottom 10 player to be near the 8, plus a good run with injury.

Fyfe 100% confirmed signed, nothing to see here
Why do you think he is any chance to leave?

This is the same guy who after the media started spinning a BS story of him leaving, he came to the club and requested to put out a video squashing the rumours and saying he is committed to Freo.

The only thing that has happened since then is time has passed and that is not an indicator of him leaving at all...

A corrupt AFL denied him in 2014 and this is early in his career . He could be even better now he is going to have more talent around him.
To be fair the AFL gave him a MASSIVE break to allow him to win the medal in '15

If Fyfe was to leave, would you be bitterly disappointed, would you Boo him???

I would if he went to Hawthorn or Geelong, cant stand them campaigners. Otherwise if he left for massive coin and the club chose not to match it, i would be 'ok' with it!

This thread is getting ridiculous. May as well turn it into a Fyfe - Haiku thread. Come at me (in poem form)

Fyfe, the great man flies
Ever upward, willing on;
Our hearts wait as one

Have you actually read the OP, set up by none other than the geat and noble Allicat.

It was made for these reason to be aired, some people need to see the funny side of the posts, or is everyone on edge at the fact he could be going...
