All the talk about our midfield being so much better than theirs has been shown as nonsense. Pridis, Shuey, Kerr, they are more than a match for us. Their backline have completely shut down our forwards too. We have a lot of work to do before finals if we want to win one.

Right now, injuries are biting hard.

LeCras goals. This one is done, boys.

Without Curnow and Robinson, we're down on hardness.

No I wasn't. I do however, think they had a point. When you can't influence a situation, commenting on it is the most you can do. At 3 qtr time, it is still looking very difficult for Carlton. Although we have too much run for them at times, they are very strong in the air and their mids are playing good negating roles. Does that make me a pea heart?

So let me see if I have this right, giving it away as gone half way through the second quarter is OK with you? Thats the cutoff point for you is it. Totally acceptable after the 10 minute mark of the second is fair enough.

Like I said, Pea hearted effort. I stand by that.

We are 5 down half way through the last and I still havent given up hope.

This 4th quarter is shit. Sydney last week knew they had lost and still had the pride to run out the game to the bitter end. Where's our effort? We don't care.

Warnock provides nothing.

Perfect time of the year to lose a game.

Positives:
Betts and his pressure.
ROK and Austin got game time.
Marc Murphy was a lone soldier.
Add Heath Scotland to that actually and possibly Simpson.
Yarran was good in bursts, as was Jeffrey.

Negatives:
Judd.
Kreuzer.
Too many smothers.
Gibbs needs a helmet.
Carrazzo needs kicking practice.
Walker was AWOL.

I could go on and on but really, bring on next week. The loss came at a good time, we still have a long way to go before finals. We'll be right.

Nice wake up call for us.

Pea hearted effort from the Blues today as well.

Get off your high horse.

This isn't the brand of footy we have been playing so far this season.

agree
and blaming umps is not the way to go
we have been poor and had poor luck

Why is Kreuzer a negative? He's done all he can IMO.

Warnock has let him down.

We were due for a down week, we had a lot of injuries, we lost our most important player in the context of our undersized defense, and the Eagles are a very good team. There is a reason why a lot of these players were playing for the bullants last week.

Guys we can't win every week. Today was a poor effort especially from our mids. Really missed Robbo and Curnow's hardness. When Robbo goes in full tilt the rest of them gets inspired and put in that same effort.

This loss should be a huge wake up call.

What a disappointing game from the skipper

I realise you can't play well every week but he has had zero influence on this game

Will only perpetuate the no Judd no Carlton leanings
