Good quarter. Better movement with the ball, better effort up forward and our defence holding strong.

Gotta get the first 2 of the last.

Boak looked out on his feet there.

They all look spent. Thomas as well.

Gave a lot that quarter ... could have been a slightly better return if not for the Nat soft free kick and Hurn's bomb from 136m out..

Need to finish and run the game out here - otherwise may be steam-rolled.

The umpire kept pointing the other way for some reason.

Thought we were the better team that quarter but punished on the scoreboard. Their forward fifty entries are simply better at the moment, we need Schulz to stand up as a marking target, as there's no real plan at the moment.

Brogan is teaching Cox a lesson though.
Hate to quote myself, but this, along with better ball use has been the difference this quarter.

We've been the better side for almost most of the game now, it's a shame they're just a bit classier at the moment.

Wow, we start playing on and moving the ball quickly and look what happens? WHY DO WE EVER REVERT BACK TO THE OTHER STYLE. THIS HAPPENS EVERY WEEK. Naitanui's free kick was there BTW. Trengove grabbed the jumper. Soft rule, but it's there.

Also, well done on Phillips on redeeming himself with his best quarter for the club. Pettigrew, on the other hand, just kept confirming everything I said about him every team the ball was anywhere near him.

We're either going to win this or lose by 10 goals, I can just about guarantee it. But win or lose, at least Schulz will go home with a new Toyota.

Our fitness is going to be tested hugely this quarter, Boak looked shot late in that quarter. Hopefully we can give the effort that shows some spirit.
