Seriously, someone really needs to take a stand against the umpiring in general. I can't really name another sport where umpiring is so inconsistent and terrible.

For the most part, I blame the AFL, not the Umpires themselves; they bring in all of these crap technical rules that are incredibly hard to judge correctly, and they then change the interpretations of them on a fortnightly basis.
