Will be heading off to the game in an hour or so. Quite enjoy wet games for some reason! Have a good feeling about today and think it will be a close one!

Not looking forward to the rest of the year.

We can't beat port and port can't beat anyone else but us.......Port losing to the gold coast and nth melbourne reinforce that.

The weather may save us from an almighty thumping tonight.

Very gloomy Rayven!

Let's start with some hope and see what happens from there.

Looking forward to seeing Wright again - does anyone know if he goes OK in the wet?

Not long to wait now. I love Saturday night games, definitely my favourite timeslot :)

Hope L Thompson and Smith continue the impressive starts to their careers.

Will Johncock get the job on Milne? Has struggled a bit before with him if memory serves.

Knights looked a bit better last week, got a bit of the ball. Would be great to see him on the scoresheet with those long bombs of his.

Jaensch showed a couple of glimpses last week. Should be just his sort of conditions.

Hendo needs a big one.

Would be great to see Brodie Martin get a full game. Reckon his run off half back/wing and his delivery could be a real asset.

Hope we get a good crowd. Bit of rain around but nothing too much to worry about.

unless we are held goalless for the game i'm not sure the Saint's are travelling well enough to thump anyone.

I had a us 2-2 at this point, so we are only one game off that. Don't think we should be getting out the razor blades just yet because Port have shit list but run through walls against us.

Looking forward to seeing our boys respond this week (hopefully).

Seeing vince and otten dropped would put people on notice, although hendo and symes are so lucky to be in still.

We miss Rory big time, hes only young but theres something we need that he gives!

rumour is that Farren Ray is an out for St Kilda

if true he will be a loss as he has been one of the Saints better players in the opening rounds

on the back of last week I really fancy our chances tonight.

Stiffy found his run last week
Walker and Tippett found their combined mojoe
Sauce will be better for the run
Knights started to show some confidence
and DANGER looks a bees you know what away from ripping a game apart

Well we've done everything right according to theory (hope it works in practice!)

We brought back some experience again in Davis (not much experience I know, but rather have him than not, especially facing a team with reiwoldt in it), we've got a fast side by keeping in l thompson, giving brodie martin a full run and removing vince and otten.

On the subject of vince and otten, we've sent the message out, perform or be dropped, there's enough people in form in the SANFL for us to do that now.

We've gone tall up forward. I think there's a perception saints dont have good match ups for tall forwards that can take contested marks - I worry about this one a bit though, didnt like it when we went in with so much tall timber in poor weather with fremantle.

We just need to play four quarters of contested footy and have a zone that half works and we should be right.

Get into em boys!!! Go crows!

If it's any indication it has been steady rain over here on the west coast today so I would have thought it would be reasonably wet tonight!

Keen for Wright to stake his claim and have a good game, the conditions could suit him and he may snag a few if run out of the pocket.

Danger to run riot in the slippery conditions, and big Phil Straightback to stitch up Johnny Nick Holmes.

We need this one.
