They share the same ethics as banks.
At least with a bank you can take your business elsewhere.
Ticket agencies essentially operate in a non competitivetive environment, hence there is little incentive for them to go the extra mile for the customer, they just need to be good enough so the AFL don't tell them to get ****ed.

You can take your business elsewhere but the new bank will still screw you over just like the old one did.

Although you'll have the added fun of filling out all the paperwork all over again. ;)

But I take your point.

I'm not having a go at people here... well maybe I am.. but the whole whining about the handling fees annoy me. It's there, its never going to go away, just get over it.

Having a site that actually works, gives you seats you want/prefer and doesnt give "credit card errors" again and again is much more important than a piddly $6 extra charge.

Where's the $6 worth of "handling" in printing your own ticket though? And aren't the tickets expensive enough already?

Hi all
How much are AFL members tickets for the preliminary finals?? All I can find is guest pass prices
Thanks

Tickets for full members are $25.

Very happy with my level 2 seats this morning :thumbsu:

Ticketek's pound of flesh. They have to pay staff, overheads, create garbage website infrastructure etc. They don't get the ticket price - that goes to the AFL.

I hope they haven't spent too much of it on the website.

Not to mention if you have multiple tickets and split the fee (which is what I do) it becomes 1 or 2 dollars. Hardly anything to complain about when that happens.

Could handle the rego fee if I got a GF ticket...but for the pleasure of registering is a bit rich.
Ticketek should just provide their (albeit substandard) services for free?

I had no trouble getting my prelim tickets. Nothing but trouble getting mums Springsteen tickets just then though, lol.

How's N53 Row C for seats? That's what I ended up with...
