I went to the Storm vs Sharks match last round of the NRL and the guy sitting beside me had a hip flask full of gin - I'm sure there is a way to sneak stuff in if you really want to.

You wouldn't use a hip flask for flagon wine, it will rot thru, wreck a good hip flask, and scar your bum.

Safe to say ticketek sent me into a panic. 2 cat 1 tix means I'm now on a very tight budget. Can we take goon sacks in to the ground

I did the Cat 2 thing too.
I am in the Ponsford Section N30 Row G.

Just heard a news update on SEN. Many Bulldogs fans accidentally bought more tickets than they wanted to due to what some people were talking about here. With less available they weren't tacking any chances with going back to check over orders. Hopefully the confusing drop down menu problem is fixed although knowing Ticketek and Tmaster it will probably only get worse.

Jesus you are kidding. What a massive **** up, so now even more members have missed out then- those extra tickets will go to family/friends/non members, I'm imagining. Or on ebay.

Yep. Bulldogs on front foot with it though getting in contact with those with unwanted extras in an effort to deal them to members or fans who have not yet bought.

Ticketek you absolute campaigners!

Logged on at 12pm exactly for MCC reserved seats and visitor tickets.

Secured Q48, row A, seats 1-8 only to spend the next ten minutes until my time expired being told my credit card details (stored with Ticketek and used 1000s of times before) were wrong. :fire::fire::fire:

Arseholes! Ended up breaking my group of 8 up into smaller groups with shit tickets.

same with me. wanted reserved seats level one. had six together in my cart at 12.05pm, kept crashing on CC details, lost the tickets, thereafter only single seats available. just ended up going with gen admin and we'll now have to get there at 4pm to lineup to get decent seats.

This, the site is rigged to provide error messages like this when it cant handle the amount of traffic IMO.

Similar experience here, too. Had the tickets in my cart at 12:04, kept getting the "well, that's unexpected" message, and going back, trying to re-load my details. Finally lost the first batch of tickets around 12:20, lost the second batch of tickets at 12:30, and then got the third tickets at 12:40, in row GG when we started in row D of level 1.

And we finally got tickets together despite the system saying only single tickets available by that time. And my gut feeling is that I wasted lots of time by going back and trying to re-submit my details, and that once it wasn't accepted the first time around, I should've just started from scratch straight away.

What a disaster Ticketek is. They must use the same IT guys as the Census. I can't believe they can't just a design a system that has adequate capacity to allow any number of people to login simultaneously, and still process the orders. It's absolutely pathetic.

Sorry to hear about all this shit.

And you are all correct - it entirely embarrassing.

For a small market of 100000 tickets to be shut down due to volume - and its not like the finals are not an unexpected time of year and volume of applications for tickets -

Its total shit for the AFL to maintain contractual deals with ticket vendors who charge like wounded bulls and cant anticipate high volume and provide a service to match it.

****ing joke. Very Australian but a ****ing joke.
