Don't forget Dusty is the GOAT and anyone who disagrees doesn't know football LOL
He's very explicit. You judge how advanced a team is in their rebuild by how long ago they won a flag. So us winning in 2022 put our rebuild back 11 years. Thankfully winning this year would only put us back 2 years.
Hmmmm. I just thought it was pointless to bag Richmond under those circumstances. You said the shorter quarters helped them yet why couldn’t younger sides use those shorter quarters to lift their intensity?I'm not lost. I just find it hypocritical of yourself to ask others why they bag another club when you are notorious for doing so on a weekly basis davey.

He thought they meant 1999 GF Cam Mooney. To be fair he did a great rendition of that on the weekend.Jeepers.
Koschitzke's got his work cut out if he wants to emulate Cameron Mooney's career given he's been dropped after one solitary game at his new club.
Meteoric Rise going to need an early season assessment on this one please.Jeepers.

Better mark than Ablett Snr, better kick than Mooney - Falcon is our coulda been GOAT!Ah another one of your imaginary exploits.
Yep I'm sure you could've bettered 9 goals in 3 AFL grand finals too.
Man, you would've been a hell of a player. Is there a reason you never even tried the lowest possible amateur competition to have a try?
What a great idea for a new thread!Better mark than Ablett Snr, better kick than Mooney - Falcon is our coulda been GOAT!
Meteoric Rise going to need an early season assessment on this one please.
"But he plays in a terrible side!"
"But Mooney was older!"
Tsk tsk, I heard at the very least you expected Cam Mooney 2007-2010 type output from Kozzy. That you wouldn't be delighted if he met that mark, as that was par.
3.6 goals/assists, 13.2 disposals, 7.6 marks and 2.8 inside 50s per game is the mark Kozzy has to hit this year.
So far we have 0 goals/assists, 4 disposals, 2 marks and 1 inside 50.
If you'd like we can keep measuring in the VFL - I'll allow it.
Serious question would you miss from 1m out? I don’t think a toddler could pull that off mate.
That’s why I don’t rate the Cats dynasty at all. Their best forward is ass, whereas we have a triple Coleman medalist.
I said Richmond supporters would be delighted if Kozzy had Mooney type impact rather than being a throwaway player, thereafter you spent a lot of time diminishing the 2007-2010 Mooney period in particular. "At the very least" this was the expectation for Kozzy. You didn't hear that from me.
You are misremembering me responding to your claim Richmond would be delighted if Koschitzke turned out as good as Cam Mooney. Nobody is going to be delighted with any player turning out as good as Cam Mooney because he wasn't a great player.
Koschitzke is not likely to be much of a player. But my comment was about Cam Mooney being used as some sort of acceptable measuring stick. Mooney is a dill and I don't rate him.
Fun fact: Mooney averaged more combined goals/assists through his side's dynasty than Riewoldt did.Serious question would you miss from 1m out? I don’t think a toddler could pull that off mate.

Tom Lynches was 2m out in an EF, so essentially half as bad. Let that sink in
And it was to win the game rather than halfway through it.
And Mooneys cost a 3peat and 4/5. F me ouch
Yeah but it didn’t, did it. It didn’t cost us anything at all. You have literally no way at all of knowing anything like that. Brad Ottens missed a shot that was just as easy AND ignored a player over the top unmarked to his left in the goal square.
We came out after half time and kicked the first goal and had the first 3 scoring shots of the second half and led the game. Mooney’s miss was utterly inconsequential and your statement is about as stupid as most of the other s**t you state.
Using your logic, it’s only because of Mooney kicking the second goal in 2009, and the first goal of the second half to put us back in front, that we won the flag that year.
So yeah, we can make it official.
Mooney = reason we lost 08
Mooney = reason we won 09
Glad we got that sorted.
Cats likely round 1 team has 5 high quality first round draft picks with up to three or four years under their belt who didn’t play in 2022 Premiership.
I’m staggered the Cats are seen to be falling out of the 8 by so many lazy journos.
Cats smashed by injury last year. I’m tipping top 4.

The only way this has been explained away to me by your brethren is that Geelong 2007-2010 was a much better and more prolific side than Richmond 2017-2020 (which was a fun admission, I have to say).
How would you interpret it?
Tom Lynches was 2m out in an EF, so essentially half as bad. Let that sink in
Remind me again how many Coleman Medals Mooney or Hawkins for that matter had in the era?
Your fwd line was utter trash
Can a team fall out of the 8 from out of the 8?
