Didn't one of our players literally win that award this season? :drunk:
3 players in the top 10 for votes as well. Richmond had zero.. The future is grim over there, our highly regarded Richmond friends will work out what all these words mean soon enough :)

And the best part is that all they are going to do is not let you bottom out and make a good list.

I actually think Holmes may be my new favourite non-Richmond player now.

This video still gives me goosebumps with all the injuries. on the ropes in a prelim against Geelong at HT.

I've never seen that. You can't help but marvel at what we did that season!

I believe that season (2019) is the reason Geelong supporters crave our approval when it comes to their own success's, and when they don't get it, because from the Richmond perspective there was never anything to marvel at when Geelong won, and that's because their success was built on the foundation of special trearment 🤣🤣🤣 they lose their minds and call us obssessed 🤣🤣🤣
A long winded way of saying yes he did win it. :smilev1:
This is what I mean when I say Geelong fans don't care about the way it's won when it comes to them, but when it's Richmond, we had sh*t GF opponents during their dynasty 🤣🤣🤣

To our lil catters in here i get it you only have the spoon to crow about but how do you explain over time when you play the tigers in finals we make you our bitches.

Think ill just leave this here again, surely change your name to the GeeCHOKE cats, gotta nice ring to it 😂

Richmond and Geelong have met in 12 league finals all-up, with the Tigers winning ten and losing two.
Richmond and Geelong have met in 3 league Grand Finals, with the Tigers winning two (1967 & 2020) and losing one (1931).

All the injuries? Do you have any idea how many injuries/missing players geelong had.

Our foward line was literally lachie henderson and Sav.
It doesn't matter, you were leading at HT, Richmond coming back to win is just what happened back then when Richmond were allowed to "raise the fight," and what would've happened in that '22 H&A game also, the one where Prestia was targeted and the stand rule was in play, and you only won by 3pts. That game was the reason we were screwed at the GABBA.

But but but Geelong were missing Gary Rohan

Some of these cats posters are ****en hilarious imagine debating with a supporter group whose team has absolutely destroyed them in the most important games not only in VFL but AFL also, a complete domination of the GeeCHOKE Cats

Well at least you're pointing out the truth well done man. Definitely a goal and AFL still to this day hasn't explained why it was over turned.

Now we turn our attention to the GeeCHOKE cats V Lions and what do we get excuses after excuses pathetic take the L and move on.

That was beautiful. Lets be honest when Rance, Jack, Nank, Short etc went down there were some doubts lingering whether we could climb the mountain again but we did enough at the half way mark to stay in touch, just out of the 8 by memory then went on to win the next 12 games straight on our way to another flag.

"NOTHIN' more Tigerish than a bloody Tiger, a wounded Tiger."
The quote from Tom Hafey, who coached Richmond to four flags, dates back to the 1975 preliminary final.
It also perfectly encapsulates the Tigers' 2019 season.

Yet Richmond was fully healthy when they got Mason Cox'd :$

Yep we also can't match your unique 0-3 record h2h against us in finals.

Cats have a unique ability to lose the unloseable finals games. Unloseable before the game begins based on history, and some finals unloseable during the game based on big leads against their opponents.

2013 QF against Freo at Kardinja Park. From 1995-2013, Cats were 12-1 against Freo at KP, their last loss was 2005. They beat them by 41 points earlier in 2013 in H&A. Lost the final by 15.

Heading into 2017 QF, Cats had won their last 13-games against Richmond. They had not lost to Richmond at the MCG since 1999. They were 20-1 v Tigers since 2000. Somehow they lost. Coughed up big leads in 2019 PF and 2020 GF also.

Had not lost to Lions in Melbourne since 2004. Lost the PF in 2024 despite leading by 25-points in the third quarter. Their last loss to Lions in Melbourne? A PF no less.

Against Sydney leading into 2016 PF were 10-2 in last 12 games in Victoria v Sydney. We’re behind 47-5 at quarter time .

Were 11-0 in last 11 games v Hawks leading into 2013 PF. Led by 20 at 3/4 time and lost.

Were 14-1 in last 15 games against Demons leading into 2018 EF. Were down 33-2 at 1/4 time and lost.

You’ve got to admire the Cats ability to keep making finals. But you also can’t help but be bewildered by their unique ability to cough up finals against teams they’ve been absolutely dominant against in H&A.
