i was never in the sack Simmo brigade, but the last two weeks have opened my eyes, with him and this coaching group.

There is some serious poor decisions being made, in the game day set ups and plans.

1. The centre square set up is laughable, last week we had Priddis , Mitchell and Shuey in at the same time v Zharakis, Merrit and Heppell, fast forward one week and we have Gaff, Mitchell and Priddis in there at the same, not one bit of pace, no wonder our back line have no chance when it comes down so easy, at some point it may be a good idea to have some pace in there. throw Cripps or Jetta in, at least if we loose the clearance, we generally do now, at least we may have a chance of putting pressure on the out.
2. Like Woosha he has his favourites, certain players will never be dropped, good coaches make those decisions to attempt to make their teams better.
3. Kennedy had the loose man hanging around him all day, so rather than sending our loose man down there to make him accountable he lets Kennedy get hammered all day.
4. The web has been worked out, a simple switch of play and we are screwed.

They are just a few things i have seen recently, are we going to get better with him leading the team ?

I don't see it.

Saying we wasted 4 years is a bit of an over reaction.

2014 was painful for the first 11 rounds but once the playing group got their shit together with Simmo as coach we almost made finals. 2015 we over achieved as most expected a 6th-8th. Finish. 2016 was to be top 4, and 2017 was premiership glory.

At least that's how I worked it out at the end of the 2014 season.

BUT when Nic did his knee late last year, I knew then that our thoughts of a premiership went out the window.

The cattle is uninspiring and we just lost to a team who's second 22 is half made up of first round draft picks that had been engineered to win a flag. Can't see us challenging but at least it looks like some change is happening and trying some new players, which half you campaigners have been begging for for a long time.

Also for the Facebook blow-ins; we have a thing called a 'match committee' so even if the coach wants to drop underperforming seniors he doesn't always get to.

Im taking a slightly more positive spin on the GWS loss.I think it was the loss we had to have.As a lot of posters have stated we do not have the cattle to win a premiership.Acknowledge it and get on with it.There is no point in clinging to the margins of the eight; bringing in the Petries etc ; and please dont cling to the notion that we will get NN back in the latter stages and all will be well with the world.Ive seen him on TV and he will be in no shape to heavily impact games.A cameo at best.So do we start a rebuild??Do we cling on desperately? Simmo, this is where we toughen up!Keep playing the Duggans, the Mutimers,Karpany, try Nelson in the guts, give Lamb a FEW games while Kennedy is out.Next year with a fully fit Lycett and NN back we dont want to be flaffing around we want young midfielders who feel they belong out there,Get games into Partington,Cole and Venables, fast track Watson; lets have a glimpse into the future.

Wrong players got dropped though, its our midfield that needs a serious shake up mainly.

Simmo really needs to improve the midfield plan .Defence and fwdline is sound, midfield is a big weakness and also stoppages set ups hurry and fix this area if we expect to get a finals win ..

If only Simmo could do this.

Youve gotta laugh when you read the West or watch TV news and they still mention Eagles and Premiership hopes in the same sentence. They should be talking about our faint and rapidly disappearing hopes of scraping into the eight.Followed by " why bother "?? We have plenty of "good" footballers but how many of them would you call indispensable? Not a lot.We got a good kickstart on the weekend from our indigenous players.Jettas form aside they gave us some X factor.Lets fasttrack some of these recruits and see how they go on the big stage. Some players thrive in the spotlight, what have we got to lose?? Oh yeh!! seventh or eighth place! Whoopee!

Go the tank and get a chance at a top 5 pick while blooding a few players ..
No Nicnat ,Kennedy or Shuey no chance at flag ..

I think we should just fold and start a new club.

New board
New coaches
New list
New facilities
New supporters

Top to bottom clean-out. Start afresh at the new stadium.
