Not sure but I think it's interesting that DeGoey is the one they've backed in. The bloke can play but misdemeanors aside, he still hasn't done it consistently. It's an interesting call. I don't mind ruthlessness but I would've thought DeGoeys the one you'd be ruthless with.Anyone else reckon this Collingwood move is being influenced heavily by their new coach?
The bloke seems pretty ruthless and competitive, but might be a little bit silly?
He seems emotional and relies on that to drive the team. Pies were an exciting team to watch last season with a lot of lesser players stepping up to perform really good roles.Anyone else reckon this Collingwood move is being influenced heavily by their new coach?

Then what do you get if you cross Mark O'Connor with Tom Stewart? What do you get when you cross Ratugolea with Tuohy?
Ratatouille
He thanked his teammates. What did be say?
Zach Tuohy? Then what do you get if you cross Mark O'Connor with Tom Stewart?
Isn't he surfing down at Gold Coast yet? LolZach Tuohy?
Also pretty sure you have to convince the AFL you can fit it in your cap, before you select him.

Not bad but I was wanting Irish Stew.Zach Tuohy?

Look how happy Grundy who wanted to be a Magpie for life looks in his new outfit
I don't. The whole drafting system is on really shaky legal ground.I really hope Collingwood send him to the draft and they end up with nothing.. talk about cutting your nose of to spite your face.. I think that's how it goes lol
Or maybe Henry puts a high price on his head to get away from them and they much at a much bigger figure than what they offered him.I really hope Collingwood send him to the draft and they end up with nothing.. talk about cutting your nose of to spite your face.. I think that's how it goes lol
Given the boredom attached to current proceedings (current manufactured proceedings), perhaps we can play nearest the pin and pick the time the Henry deal get's either killed off / or officially announced as being done.
I'll step up to the tee and go with - deal gets announced that he's going to Geelong at 7.25pm.
Doesn't exactly take into account that clubs only need to be lined up ready to lodge paperwork at 7.30pm ...... but you get it.
And when the club try to sign their future players to longer deals, their credibility will be damaged. They can promise the player they are valued and part of the future but the player would just say; “Yeah sure but in 18 months will you say the same?”Wow - that is a player that was pushed out.
I actually feel for him. Clearly a committed and loyal player. Traded two years into a seven year deal.
This is the kind of thing that can really have a negative impact on the culture of the place. No doubt he had a lot of mates there that he formed great relationships with over the years. They won't be happy and it can have a detrimental impact IMO.
