I have no idea which way it will go but I think it would be negligent of Hopper if he is leaving to not meet all potential suitors. Doesn’t mean he’s cooled necessarily on us. It sounds like there’s been a lot of work put in to land him for a while. All I’m saying is that it’s rare we don’t get our man.

I doubt they will get him.
I reckon hopper will choose the country over the city given his roots.

I just watched it, I don't think he's laughing because he's confident he's laughing because he knew he'd be asked. Then I think maybe he gets his wires crossed with taranto where he said he was coming home. Then he just says they'll try to make him a richmond player, which, of course, that's why they're meeting him.

Maybe he nominates richmond tomorrow, I mean nothing to stop him now that they're out of the finals campaign. But, I doubt the visit changes much

So sounds like 40-50% of Richmond salary cap will go to 6-7 players if they get Hooper and Taranto, sounds like a great list strategy. Starting to sound like Collingwood!!!!

More likely the latter. Players are usually after sweet moolah, it's what they play for at the end of the day... It could be a tactic to create further interest and boost his contract. I think he will be at the Cattery tbh, but his contract value might be increased to snag him. Not necessarily the trade value.
