Re: Gibbs set to stay

Sexton wore a glove and didn't sign my jumper before training in the 93 granny.

Dorotich tried to sign my jumper but I wouldn't let him.

"No dad! I don't want dorotich's autograph, his crap" cried the 7 year old kruzering, well within earshot of Dorotich, to his fathers embarressment.
Shocking revelation that you of all people would knockback a premiership player's signature.

Doro was a legend.

We missed Doro's and Dean's hardness in the 1993 GF.

Dorotich made Wallis his bitch that year.

Wallis was acting like a tough guy on the mark, so Dorotich just shook his head and put that fraudulent hack on his arse with one shove.

Doro wasn't stupid.

Even he was scared of Lockett.

Disagree also, Dorotich was my favourite player when i was 8 years old. Hard as nails who bled for the club on the field. I still have my old jumper from when i was younger with the number 6 on the back and a signature!!

He was a great footballer. In his first year at Carlton he played in 86 Grand Final loss to the Hawks then the next year we won the flag with him at FF in that grand final rematch.

Was no Spud thats for sure.

Re: Gibbs set to stay

I've said it before, there is a story behind his Mrs Palmer moment.

Yep!! :thumbsu:

Certain news readers and another CFC player come to mind as well!!!

(Pardon the Pun). ;)

Agree with that, great player. The Dominator was and still is my all time favourite though.

Re: Gibbs re-signs for 2 years

Just watching TV and I get a text message from Bryce via the club telling members that he has signed. Well done Bryce, well done Carlton ... that's great news and excellent service.
