"Lockdown" and "gold standard" just don't go well together.Sounds like same rules as Melbourne lockdown, but can't bring herself to say it.

At least Sqotty's non partisan when it throwing people under the bus to save his own sorry arse.Don’t blame me for Sydney cluster, it’s NSW’s problem: PM
Scott Morrison says the NSW government has failed to enforce mandatory vaccinations, allowing the virus to spread through a Sydney limousine driver.www.afr.com
You have to respect that don't you Gough. Scomo staying non partisan, adhering strictly to his constitutional responsibilities, regardless of the state involved.
yeah fu** me she needs to shut this sh*t down
What I see is a shifty and untrustworthy man who'll do literally anything to insulate himself from any sort of accountability. You have to respect that don't you Gough. Scomo staying non partisan, adhering strictly to his constitutional responsibilities, regardless of the state involved.
Err, no you don't.You have to respect that don't you Gough. Scomo staying non partisan, adhering strictly to his constitutional responsibilities, regardless of the state involved.
It worked in the Northern Beaches, but there's a huge difference between that area and the City of Sydney.
No. Only when it's statewide, including LGAs that have never had a single covid case ever, it's a lockdown. They'll probably need this eventually, but at least they didn't shit the bed, and had a crack at controlling it without fear and panic we see here.So in Vic we call that "lock down" right?

Correct. The northern beaches is almost an island. Inner city Sydney and the west is not.
Local LGA shutdowns is a huge mistake.
This is when Politics takes over from Public Health, the far right will always try to protect the Political agenda at the expensive of Public HealthHave you forgotten what happened in Victoria's first lockdown which didn't work? Remember, when they tried to just limit it to a few LGAs?
NSW are making the same mistake as Victoria made last year as if they haven't learnt a thing. It's so infuriating that they're hesitating and gambling with people's lives.
The consequence of letting the virus out is far too high (see Victoria 2020) to not be erring on the side of caution. 1,000 Primary close contacts from just one hair-dressers.
Shut it down or bear the consequences.
its ballsy politics - he has literally nailed himself to the NSW gold standard, had his ministers trashing victoria for a year, and he now turns on her. He can win without victoria, but he needs gains in nsw. brave move against a popular premier, esp with potatohead in the wings
It is not ballsy. Nothing he does has courage associated with it.
It is convenient and opportunistic and outright lazy and incompetent.
The only thing Morrison does is messaging. And when that message turns to sh*t he moves on to a new message.
That is not ballsy.
its ballsy because victoria is now scorched earth for the libs thanks to this same approach. chucking the premier under the bus risks a similar consequence in NSW, and that will cost him the election.
I think once you can't go to Kmart, it's a lockdown.No. Only when it's statewide, including LGAs that have never had a single covid case ever, it's a lockdown.
