Aarts and martyn i get.

Rcd a little bit.

But stack is on another level bs. Club is gonna look stupid in a few years time.

Yeah but you look stupid now. None of us know what happens on a daily/weekly basis. Back the club in.

Not surprised with the delistings. Surprised that the wording indicates none will be re-rookied.

I thought with so many late picks, that we’d prefer to have experienced players on the rookie list and not 53, 64 plus additional rookies.

Either way, it makes sense from a personnel standpoint. Hopper + Taranto and the emergence of Sonsie and Ross (and the long term chance MRJ becomes a midfielder) meant that RCD and Martyn are unlikely to push for AFL action.

Stack has all the talent, but when you have to make a decision on who to keep when competition for list spots is high, multiple instances of unprofessionalism will always count against you.

I will die on the RCD hill. I know most will say it’s a bust and a wasted pick. But for mine he was the exact high risk high reward pick that you should swing for at 20 (which is essentially the second round).
No issues with the pick but sometimes they just dont work out

Stack
Aarts
RCD
Martyn (see, Sam McClure was right, he just got the spelling wrong)

Take it the Disco Bank.

In before Stack matures, gets picked up by another club, and becomes a star of the comp ala Stengle. I had high hopes for him after he burst onto the scene.
If TicTok was a sport he would win Gold lol.

I think with the remaining spots they will add different sorts of players.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a mature key forward and a young key forward/back. They simply don't need a half back/half forward like stack or any mids.

extremely disappointed with RCD and Stack. What a waste of opportunity. They both could have been top 5 players in our team. I do feel we should have played RCD more, but I gather he never worked hard enough defensively, or there were other issues going on.

Stack..I have nothing really to say after the kebab incident and his embarassing, cringeworthy social media. Glad he is gone

If the penny ever drops for Stack like it did in 19' this will come back to hurt us the most, the kid is a defender and has been played out of position 3yrs

It was the right call on RCD, Martyn & Aarts the opportunities at AFL level just arent there, If they find new homes I wish them all the best

Come on year after year, Stack rocks up unfit to preseason been his issue from the draft year then he plays catchup for half the season no commitment talent there I agree club gave him enough chances.

We all wanted Stack to be a Gun at Richmond but some things never change no mater how much guidance and support you give them

Pre draft : Sydney Stack was touted as a top 5 talent but went undrafted
4 years later : Sydney Stack is an elite talent but same issue still exist

If he remained on the list another 4 years , Same problems would probably still be there
Kid just is not prepared to put the hard work in when away from the club

Happy to give him 1 more chance but only as a rookie on min coin if still available at our last rookie pick but more for compassion reasons

Just like stengle with us and Adelaide, Stack just wasn't mean to be at Tigerland.

Unfortunately , sometimes players need time out to assess things. Like the potential opportunity they have. Stack for me is a player with pretty much everything.... could be anything....touch of the Denis Rodman about him...

I remember when we traded Andy Collins or whatever the guys name was to Carlton for Grigg.
So many people were furious on this forum.
We all know what happened there...

Remember, we will never know as much as our list management team.
Don't be surprised if no one picks Stack up.
Massive red flags for other clubs if you are willing to delist a player with that much talent.

good luck to em all

wouldn't be opposed to signing aarts up at vfl if he gets nothing else

someone might take rcd

martyn won't get much

dunno about stack, can we recruit him again as a rookie?

Freo already ruled out Stack. I think fans rate him a lot more than clubs do:

Stack – a West Australian – wasn’t offered a new contract for 2023 after just two games in 2022. But despite the talent that made him Richmond’s best first-year player in 2019, Walls said the club won’t pursue the 22-year-old.

“I’d say no,” Walls responded when asked about the possibility of recruiting Stack.

“We’ve looked at Sydney previously and through the draft, he’s probably got to show that he can get himself fit and he’s dedicated and come back through the WAFL and have a really good season.
