Death metal doesn't really invite celebratory singalongs though hey
howja know??!Spoken like someone who's ever sung along to Unholy Confessions in a mosh pit.

Someone suggest it to Kai - guernsey #1, has to be him. Four goals in the GF helps too.Who gets that as their goal song? Or just a before game and wins sing-along?
Would love to have that played as the players run out for the first hone game of the season.
That was the first time I thought we had a real good chance to run away with it. We'd weathered Sydney's push and our own inaccuracy, we'd gotten ourselves in front, and Blakey (who I generally rate) is more interested in playing up contact rather than playing the ball or man.
it was such a bad moment. he just put his head down playing for the free, then just stopped holding his head. That was the first time I thought we had a real good chance to run away with it. I was baffled by some of the commentary on the Zorko 50m. Yes he ran up to the mark quickly and took a risk by taking all of the territory. But i have watched it 20 times, the most he goes over the mark would be 20cm, it's a very harsh 50m. The commentary on SEN is that it was a clear 50m. Academic but at the time it felt significant. Could have led to a swans rally in an alternative universe.
The Swans were doing it for the whole game, and oftentimes stepping way over the mark.It was more frustrating when a Swans player did the EXACT SAME THING shortly after and it was all good.
Sympathy umpiring had kicked in by then. The Swans were doing it for the whole game, and oftentimes stepping way over the mark.

I attended the Gabba in round 12 of 2016, the stadium was at about one-third capacity and we lost by over 80 to a lowly Freo Dockers side that was without Nat Fyfe. It was one of the only games that season we started as favourites and we even kicked away to an early lead before seemingly deciding to stop trying. Our team included names such as Jarrad Jansen, Trent West, Rohan Bewick, Sam Mayes, Nick Robertson and Josh Schache. It stands out as the low point for me, but this finals series was all worth it.
It was pretty clear that the players weren't the only other ones with grand finals nerves. People might assume that for some umpires it's just another game, but they would feel the pressure of the moment. That it wasn't paid again for the match would indicate the occasion got the better of whichever ump that was (it never mattered enough that bother finding out).it was such a bad moment. he just put his head down playing for the free, then just stopped holding his head.

Here it is. Amazing on how far away we've come.

That's a bad one, but this one, played about a month earlier, was the most lifeless and dismal Brisbane performance I've ever been present to witness -- and I went to a lot of early Bears games so trust me, that's saying something.
I don't think I've ever left a game as angry and disgusted as I was leaving this one. Absolutely diabolical. This game shattered any confidence I had in Leppa being the man to bring us back to relevance
