Dees apparently didn’t place any restrictions on their membership barcodes, so Vic members with no way of actually attending were just on-selling them.

It would be great to see how much revenue the AFL makes from this game. The AFL and MCC reserves don't make them a lot of money (as most of those seats are already effectively sold), so could Optus come close with 40k less seats?

Seems this was a false rumour or a **** up by Geelong, Ticketmaster are quite clear in saying that Melbourne and Doggies members are free to pass on their barcodes to someone else.

Maybe that's just the way Geelong were doing it.
Bulldogs have made Vic/ NSW members priority 3 tomorrow, so that WA/ SA members that can actually get to the game have first crack.
