Agreed. The Saints love to slowly bring it out of defence, and the only time our press has looked vulnerable is when there is ultra fast ball movement. If between Gilbert, Fisher and Dawson take 20 marks we will win

Yeah people are talking about this as being a method to combat the Pies, but it doesn't work because we don't sink numbers into out backline. It actually will help the press hold the high ground and also give more rest to our players for more intense efforts.
If Gwilt and Dawson and Fisher and Blake are going to be chip happy in the backline they'll get murdered, same as last time we played them.

Their only way through is precise kicking through the middle which under GF conditions is far less likely than likely.

Not sure you've watched much Saints this year if you think Jimmy is inclined to chip it around, one of the best long kicks in the comp.
