We have to press up on them and pressure them to cough it up before midfield. Cant let them kick / mark. If they take 100 marks they'll probably win. There are several key match ups but they wont matter if wce control the ball.

The lads need to make every mark a contested one. Need to attempt to get a fist to the ball. Especially when they kick out of defence. Our forwards can be a little lazy in this regard and let them walk it out of their defensive 50 with ease. Cant let that happen tomorrow.

Best of luck for tomorrow everybody. I don't hold the same animosity for the Pies that many seem to, and I reckon it should be a ripping game between two sides that play footy the right way. Naturally I hope that we get over the line but I'll try to remember that, if we do lose, it'll have been to a side that has overcome a fair bit of adversity as well in 2018.

Bring it on. :)

They have put a lot Work into Grundy. I wonder what they will do.

They know that Grundy's a thinker. I have word that they intend to distract the big man with a pop-up installation of new urban art forms along the Southern Stand wing.

This is not a preview I thought I’d be writing this year.

There were not many people who thought that either Collingwood or West Coast would make the 2018 Grand Final. Nonetheless, that’s exactly the match-up we have, and it is one of the most evenly poised Grand Final match-ups I can recall in recent years.

At this stage, the Magpies are favourites with some pundits, but the Eagles have beaten the Magpies on both occasions so far this year, including once at the MCG. The Eagles also finished higher on the ladder, and possess one of the most dangerous forward lines in the competition.

Collingwood on the other hand is carrying enormous momentum from the comprehensive victory against reigning premiers Richmond, as well as having the home ground advantage and an extra day’s rest. The Eagles also haven’t won a final at the MCG since the 2006 Grand Final.

There are arguments that could be made for either side this weekend, but whichever way you look at it, there will be some terrific stories to come out of the match.

Not sure if just me but haven’t seen or heard of Wells around the club/games for ages and Fas the last couple of weeks. Neither at training yesterday that I saw.

What’s with that? Adds to speculation Fas is gone. But Wells is a different story. Who else has gone MIA?

I think Wells, Elliot and Scharenberg have been told to have a break from the club. Makes sense.

Told to and staying away are two different things. Especially in a Premiership window. You’d think you would want to be around the club a bit more or rehab etc. like Dunny.
