Does anyone know the odds / chances on the ballot? Desperately after 3 tickets for 3 very long serving dogs fans. Wondering what my ballot chances are? If not successful very keen for 3 tickets. Driving from Adelaide for game

Shared a similar pain in 97/98 and having to ring up the travel agency (no internet sales then) to cancel the trip. Good luckAfter a single ticket. Have been overseas most of the year! Have been waiting 30 years for this! Please message if you've got one
Now we know why Hawthorn have 70,000 members but only 35,000 or less turn up to matches.
...
My mates, who went to all of the matches probably will not get a ticket. This sucks big.
That's a bloody good idea! Can't see the AFL ever getting their act together to offer that facility. You're not wrong. There should be another category of 5000 tickets for members (so 20k each club) who have attended but did not get through the first ballot. This would be for rank and file members who have scanned over the past ten years or so, weighted on the current year. So a game seen this year would be worth 1.5 but a game ten years ago may only be 0.7. The top 5000 members remaining in the ballot per club would then be offered the tix.
The only issues I see is interstate games where you may not have been able to scan a tix and friends using your tix and would give your hardcore, maybe less financial fans.
There's only one problem. It involves extra work for them. As a result, no chance. You're not wrong.
