I agree. Never rated him as a coach but as a football manager he has all the skills. Could he be trusted though?

Yeh, I don’t reckon he’ll be considered for a coaching position again and he’s smart enough to know that.

He was sacked .Butterss said it was by mutual agreement but Thomas said he was "gutted" and "it came out of left field" etc.
At least he is honest.

yeh i doesn'y really sound like he wanted to leave...but he had no choice.
he said that this morning he felt he had an inkling he would be the coach of the saints still tonight...so obviously he wasnt planning on resigning.

I wonder how this will affect the lads that he is all matey-matey with on the Saint's list. If the new coach is a disciplinarian who does not want to hang out in the spa with them drinking beer, is there going to be a revolt?
