Absolute elite, penetrating kick for a midfielder. If he could shake a tag or produce what he's capable of on a more consistent basis, he would be an absolute weapon.

Sadly I think he has been wasted at Brisbane. Would have loved to see him in an elite side where he gets less tagging attention tearing up an AFL finals series.

He could kick it a mile but it took him about 8 steps once he deiced to kick it. Hard to lead to.

Glad you cleared that up. Joel McDonald always had a red hot go but his disposal accuracy by foot was horrific
