Welcome to the Gumbies FFC S31 Team Thread. We fell agonisingly short of our first Grand Final appearance since season 21 but we're back and ready to go that next step. I am captain once again and I am joined by beez, GWS Goose and StFly in the leadership group once again and welcome Genghis Tron to the group.

At the time of writing we don't have any player announcements, in or out. We have a great core group so the goal is to build upon that from outside rather than bring players in from other teams. That's not to say that we won't see players come in from elsewhere within Sweet FA though. The Big Footy Tour of Qooty has just kicked off on the AFL Fantasy board. With any luck we'll be able to bring a player or two in from there and/or the other tours over the next couple of weeks.

Round 1 kicks off in a couple of weeks with match threads opening up Monday 1st February or Tuesday 2nd February with our first game the following Sunday. We'll look to get a preseason game or two together over the next couple of weeks to shake off the rust.​
