Scully is even more of a mercenary than Ablett & Judd. At least they both gave their original clubs a premiership.

Scully may have a long career but he'll never shake the mercenary tag. He'll forever be remembered as the #1 pick who jumped ship for the big bucks.

I've always maintained that Melbourne 'deserved' to lose Scully due to the method in which he was obtained.

However, Scully (and by extension his management) have really handled this transition poorly. He's come out looking like a complete douche.

Meh, been through it to some extent with Judd. We handled it pretty well though, we merely fell into a deep dark hole for three years.

Judd left your club to return home ..how anyone could denigrate him for wanting to return to his family and friends ..and leave a club riddled with drug problems is baffling ..but i guess bitterness cuts deep for a lot of eagles fans and haters.

There are countless players that have wanted to return home ...who do not get the idiotic bagging that Judd gets ..i guess when you are a superstar everyone likes to line up to sink the boots in ....if your a crap player ..nobody cares.

There would be plenty of legal reasons why he would not be able to come out publicly and state what really happened.
