GWS may get a boost with some locals but real support will take years.
I guess we wont know this experiment will go for maybe 20 years. Of more urgency, when will it get near to paying for itself.? Until then whenever they win, it will be called the AFLs own club.

Actually the reality is the club has successfully established itself in new territory through brilliant management and the sun shines on it's future.
If you cant see success with bring more members and further success, then whatever. It will happen anyway.

There's no excuses for Geelong in the Preliminary Final. They'll either be playing a banged up Sydney or an Adelaide that will have travelled in consecutive weeks, both off a six day break. Plus Geelong somehow broke their finals hoodoo that's been going since the 2011 flag (0-1, 1-2, 0-2 and didn't make it in the four years since).

Will we win the flag? Like everyone else the answer is I dont know. Am I loving the journey? Bloody oath I am, every minute of it.
6 clubs left and they all.have chances in my view. The winner will be the that siezes the moment ( add other cliches as appropriate).
