Clearly you recognise what a destination club looks like. Our goal will be to emulate what the Hawks have done in that regard, and in succes on the field. Surpass it if we can, a long way to go there. The only thing that can save us is if players can be successfully poached from the Giants without good compensation.
Question is? Who is going to want to leave now as the Giants are going to have a very prosperous few years.
Hopefully greed gets the better of a few of the boys and they leave for more coin otherwise we will be enjoying seeing Sheedy's head on the TV as the master who built this club from the ground up single handedly without any help from the AFL etc.
Theres a proverb about winners grinning and losers...... Can never remember all of it.Jesus these GWS posts are so cringey
I reckon it just opened the door for Hawthorn, they would fancy themselves against the Giants if they can get passed the Dogs.
Hawthorn v Geelong GF
Seriously excellent post.I'm just so happy for gws and all their long suffering supporters...
Real question is why aren't saints supporters on holidays booked early in the year?out of curiosity how many GWS supporters are on this site? i know of four. more than gold coast?
And we're rapidly building a winning culture at our destination club . Feel free to stress about it all off season.Masochistic decision by the AFL and the other clubs to give GWS this level of advantage. I hate it, and I hate GWS more than any other side. It is incredibly unfair.
Those saying that GWS will only win one premiership or so in the near future are in denial. They have twice the talent of Hawthorn's recent dynasty.

lol at Geelong supporters not worried about this still drunk on a high of scrapping over the line against a Hawthorn on the decline. I don't think they realise that that the Cats very likely have to win it this year otherwise they might be waiting a long while for another chance.
Yeah all 50 of them will be sooo happyI'm just so happy for gws and all their long suffering supporters...
Cats/Swans, these two the clear front for me, have been since start of season. They won't win it this year? Who will then? The will be bloody hard to stop.

Geelong have all their eggs in the 16 basket.Since 1989 I don't think we've ever been more than 3 years without a finals appearance.
Might be more difficult to accept for a Dockers fan who had to wait 15 years just to start being regularly competitive and then watched them blow their chance.
