Yep, five long years' worth of culture.Just goes to show its not about picks and concessions, it's culture.
I dont know so muchI reckon it just opened the door for Hawthorn, they would fancy themselves against the Giants if they can get passed the Dogs.
Hawthorn v Geelong GF
I dont know so much
I'd be disappointed in any supporter of the 6 club's left who didn't believe their team could win it. When you've won the last three you'd be crazy not to be confident. Round 6 at Spotless would have to be in the back of their mind though.
There is absolutely zero chance Stevie J gets suspended this finals series. While he has those GWS colours on, he might as well be invisible to the MRP. Could go out there with a hatchet and cop someone's arms off, and the worst he'd get would be a fine. If you're a player who's had some problems with suspensions in the past, head over to an expansion side, and you'll find things get a whole lot more lenient.
Stevie J is a plant and when he runs out for GWS on grand final day he'll be playing for Geelong
Have won 1 final. Apparantly are now a lock for the next 5 grand finals. Cool your jets, they won't even win it this year. They might win a couple over the next decade, they arent going to steamroll every season though.
Yeah got that. I'm not disagreeing. At the end of the day mate we are all just predicting. No easy games from here. Will be good to watch.
Richmond? The first of the AFL's expansion Super clubs has reached puberty ...
The 2 expansion clubs were introduced to improve the television rights. If the objective was for supporter satisfaction the AFL would have been more helpful to clubs who have not had success, some for generations.
With control of multiple drafts it was inevitable that GC and GWS would be successful as teams once their kids grew into their legs. GWS under the careful initial tuitilage of Kevin Sheedy and his support staff have set themselves up masterfully.
With academy preferences and continued advantages of being able to trade surplus players for first round draft choices they will stay strong
Like it or not a new power is arising which will shape the AFL for the next decade.
