The 'injury factor' was debunked forever by the Dogs in 2016.Having 10 regulars out of the side with injury might have something to do with it.

Yeah awesome.
Yeah awesome.
Is this the reason it took you lot 50 years or so to win a 2nd?
Always looking backwards?

True. But this like a few threads lately are just going over the same garbage. At least my images were about footy mate. Dogs being patted - I guess that is all you have. That and two spoons
It was 62 years BTW.True. But this like a few threads lately are just going over the same garbage.

Think your club has a chance of surviving long enough to win another? At least my images were about footy mate. Dogs being patted - I guess that is all you have. That and two spoons
I think there is significantly more pressure on you than the WB. They've won one, you haven't, with the way the AFL has funded and propped you up, you'd want to be winning one this year. You'll find lesser sides catching up next year.Think your club has a chance of surviving ling enough to win another?
I've never said we are anything but cintenders this year. At 8-2 after 10 rounds we are clearly in a better position than a club at 6-4 to play finals though. The future years are too far out to predict.I think there is significantly more pressure on you than the WB. Not particularly.Thanks.
Now we have your ideals on where we should be, we will now try our best.
Shouldnt you be more worried about your own club thats been propped up since the 80s?

Looking on the brightside eh?Not particularly.
Put it this way, you'd have to do a significant amount wrong come finals to not win with your list. There will be some strong competition from Geelong, WB, Adelaide, Port.I've never said we are anything but cintenders this year. At 8-2 after 10 rounds we are clearly in a better position than a club at 6-4 to play finals though. The future years are too far out to predict.
I do beleive the premiers are always overrated the following year though.
Well the other side isn't really uplifting stuff for Melbourne fans.Looking on the brightside eh?
Kudos to you.

They will survive mate because of passion, dreams, hard work and love of a football club. They will never die. It is a shame your football club knows none of these things. Maybe in time they will.ButI would put my house on the dogs beating them again in September. Whether the game is played at Spotless, Melbourne or on the moon. Come back when GWS actually win something and say something before criticisingthe dogs, who GWS could only dream of being like.Think your club has a chance of surviving long enough to win another?
The dogs had 10 regulars out during the finals last year did they? The 'injury factor' was debunked forever by the Dogs in 2016.
At some point the assistance must dry up surely? You cant expect to supported ad infinitum merely to survive in an overcrowded marketplace. They will survive mate because of passion, dreams, hard work and love of a football club. They will never die. It is a shame your football club knows none of these things. Maybe in time they will.ButI would put my house on the dogs beating them again in September. Your hoping!I dont get the logic that team 6-4 after 10 rounds is likely to make the GF. It's about making finals first. They need to win 7-12 to be assured of making finals. It's usual to overrate the previous years winner.
The teams 8-2 need to win 5-12 and this is a much more likely proposition. Who's in form going into finals remains to be seen and will be very important, but enough of the season has been played to give an indication of who is most likely to be at the top of the ladder.
Perhaps you should get an update on our finances as we have reduced our debt by something in the order of $8-10m over the last 18 months, all this despite having a crappy home ground deal. These are numbers you club can only dream about!!Think your club has a chance of surviving long enough to win another?
That's because you dont understand the difference beween capital expenditure and operating deficit, and likley never will.GWS fans criticising another club for getting assistance from the AFL
Now I've heard everything, speechless
Why would you put your house on it mate? How can you just be so sure about winning against anyone in September, so the majority of your supporters say. They will survive mate because of passion, dreams, hard work and love of a football club. They will never die. It is a shame your football club knows none of these things. Maybe in time they will.ButI would put my house on the dogs beating them again in September. Try telling that to HawthornI've never said we are anything but cintenders this year. At 8-2 after 10 rounds we are clearly in a better position than a club at 6-4 to play finals though. The future years are too far out to predict.

The stories from WB fans get more surreal each week. The dogs had 10 regulars out during the finals last year did they?
