Hall v Gibson

I read somewhere that he and Buddy are best mates now - almost inseperable :eek:

:D No doubt, I'm pretty sure Gibson kicked 5 goals on Buddy in that 2007 semi-final. It must be a relief not to have to face that again...

What?

Did Hawthorn trade a KPD in Croad to Freo or not?

Of course you clearly KNEW IN ADVANCE that Freo would trade him back, just as you KNEW Richmond wouldn't take Buddy with their second pick and just as you KNEW Geelong would miss loads of set shots in the 08 Grand Final.

wow your bitterness to Hawthorn is outstanding:thumbsu:

What relevance does trading croady 9 years ago have with this thread:confused:

Hope you have a napkin to clean the froth around yor mouth:eek:

Hansen was leading our our B+F before he tore his hammy off the bone.

Here's a bit of his efforts in that period you may recall.

Lachie is already a better KPD than Josh and will have a far superior career in that position.

But Josh can certainly play a role for you.

He is awesome, could be the new duck(hide ya wife). I'm tipping the first kpd to win a norm smith:thumbsu:

Gee I wish the Hawks got him:mad:

More involved in what? And compared to what?

Please don't tell me that was comedy.

It's not comedy. It's English. All you've done in this thread is whinge about other posters without actually offering anything of value. Welcome to the ignore list.

Why would I show a bloke who walked out on us to go to Hawthorn any class?

Peter Bell, Byron Pickett, they left on good terms and I still rate them.

Gibbo acted like a knob in the way he left.

According to most north supporters he was always a knob so why the big deal now. You also according to your good self got Aaron Black  out of the deal so why are you carrying on like a whiny bitch. You take things from too personally SLF - just like your whiny thread on the GC.

Gibson was never going to be the no.1 fullback and to ask him to play on Hall was always going to be a gimme for hall with all that brute strength. The doggies have picked up well with Hall and it has finished off a team that has come mighty close for the last two seasons - maybe this could be the time.

there must be concerns though over hawks defence if hawks see gibson as their best option for hall

you simply don't challenge for flags without a good defence

Just like your forward line our back line has always been the weak link. Losing Croad and Campbell is a huge hit but in saying that we also managed without Croad for most of 08. Tonight Gilham, Guerra and Murphy are out of the back line and while it is not the stellar cast that the cats boast it is capable of doing the job. Gibson was never recruited to take on the big bodies and while north supporters may be getting their jollies off watching this game tonight I still believe he will go okay in the home and away season.

If he doesn't then they are more than welcome to shoot their mouths off but lets be honest here where you concerned when they beat your mob last week - probably not, if it happens again in the home and away season with your full squad in then it's going to be time to worry isn't it - well ditto for the hawks as well. Before we start the funeral march lets wait and see how they perform in the home and away season. For the record though, I believe just like with the saints there will be quite a few clubs who will struggle against the doggies again this season.

Hall had a lot of room to move around, that is not what you want to see when you are a fullback.
