I think the only serious comment I can make is that if the club didn't sack him in 2016, I'd want an official club announcement to convince me they've sacked him after the start of the pre-season, after winning three premierships in four years, and with not a whiff of scandal in the popular press.

"Dimma resigned" is a rumour I'd take seriously because those sort of things can come out of nowhere -- especially given his marriage break-down. "Dimma sacked" not so much.

I wouldn't give them idea's, that will be the mid season rumour...

No chance Richmond would gift a rival club a generational coach because he couldn’t keep it in his pants. It’s not an illegal or sackable offence for mere mortals, let alone a triple premiership winning coach. The relationship bit might be true, and a resignation is even plausible, but no way he’d be sacked.

I don’t think this is worth discussing yet in my opinion because it is not yet confirmed. We can at least give Hardwick that space because what we do know is that his marriage broke down.

If it turns out that Hardwick is sacked then we’ll probably find out from official sources sooner or later (probably soon). I’ll reserve my judgements and comments until then.

Yep.

But the main point is that we have no way or knowing that this is a 'sudden' separation at all, unless we are living in the house with the Hardwicks.

My own wife was previously married and never told her family of the unhappiness + DV she endured. It all seemed very 'sudden' to everyone when she called it off and they thought I had wrecked the marriage as the 'other man', but it was at least two years in the making and had nothing to do with me. Some people only believe what they see right in front of them, no empathy.

Laura's twitter actually seems the most plausible to me out of all of them that she actually has some kind of reputable info. She had the tweet in November that only stated that Dimma had extra curricular activities in the Hub.
