Apparently an opponent can do anything when a player is over the boundary line.

Whilst on the topic of Harley, noted a lack of senior players getting around Harley when he is throwing “the toys out of the cot”.

Is any senior players running over to him, calming him down and explains that your dissent is costing us 50 + goal ?.

Is anyone pulling back on his reign’s ?.

Harley Reid IS the 2024 rising star, regardless of who receives the award (And for that matter, Dusty is the 2010 rising star as well).

Think he was just pissed that he was blatantly held and scragged by Windhager and got nothing form the umpires. There was one part where he didn't even touch the ball after a centre bounce, Windhager just dragged him straight down and he got nothing.

Compare that with when WCE played GC and we couldn't even lay a fingernail on Rowell without giving away a free.

Taggers do tagger things.

Watch any centre bounce down, and there are regularly at least 2 couples doing dance moves. Holding or ******ing each other’s progress. The umps have full view and very rarely pay a free.

I can see his frustration, but welcome to playing against men. Another thing is that umps are human, the more complaining you make, the more likely they are to ignore or err the other way.

As said before, he is a darn good footballer, but geez he has get his arrogance (good to get him doing all his tricks), in check. As the saying goes, “know when to go and know when to zip the lip”.

Well, this is the issue. I was shocked to hear tagging is banned at under 18s level, so he'd never have experienced it before.

Seems ridiculous to ban it and not have new draftees prepare for it, in my opinion.

Also, the Lings and Hutchings of the world may never end up having an AFL career , or be lucky to get drafted, whereas if they're a gun negating player, they should have the opportunity to get noticed
