Priority picks should be introduced in my view, set at a level which helps a bit but not enough to incentivise tanking, or if someone does tank nobody cares.I think AFL won’t make the same mistake twice. Not giving you more assistance was a terrible decision. I think Reid leaving will be a much worse look for the competition also. JHF was a bad look but Reid leaving would take it to a new level . They can only justify it via us getting a massive massive overpay
What are the chances of that?
We get it, anyone who leaves the WCE is a spud.
Yes.Of her and Harley?
At the end of the day it comes down to what Harley wants to do or where he chooses to go ……… WC supporters may posture and think differently but this is the biggest factor

That level for me is based on last 2 years, 7 wins or less you get pick 30 ( a frozen pick, not pushed back by bids, comp etc).
You can only get 2 years in a row though. You can get it 4 years in 5 though.
How does pick 30 help, North recieved several picks around that mark and it didnt accelerate their rebuild at all.
She's in Perth right now as well I believe. I saw a pic of her at the Wildcats game yesterday.Yes.
She was wearing a Subi training top, form memory.
Is she a uni student? If so, good for Harley. Lots of holidays, can do your course online if it is commerce, economics, law, marketing which don't have practicals like science, engineering. She's in Perth right now as well I believe. I saw a pic of her at the Wildcats game yesterday.
Drew Petrie or Sammy Mitchell style?Or at the end of a good career chasing a super top up before it's all over.
If he does go back to Vic, based purely off nothing but gut feel, I'd be betting on him picking Geelong

How are you getting a priority pick?As someone who wanted Harley Reid at Eagles more then any Eagle fan around, I’ll be first to admit that I couldn’t really care less of he stays or goes . Reid is an asset as well as a footballer. Any move for him in one way or another will see an absolutely massive overpay. For the integrity of the competition AFL will make sure it happens one way or the other.
If Eagles are bottom four next year and Reid asked to leave we are 100 percent guaranteedto get a priority pick or two and that’s before the trade. If he asked to leave I’d expect the leverage we hold over everyone would just guarantee us an overpay.
We would definitely leave any scenario with 5 top 20 picks someway or the other. AFL AND ESSENDON would just manufacture it that way
How are you getting a priority pick?
Anything that actually helps is long gone. At best a future 2nd or 3rd they must trade. Useless. For being shit I assume. AFL loves to give prolonged crap teams helping hands
What is he worth if he did decide to leave?
Kind of reminds me of the Chris Judd deal TBH. I reckon West Coast were the winners but I can’t remember the specifics other than Kennedy beings sent as part of the deal.Under contract? Won't happen as wce would set a price too high that no one would match (given we rarely see A grader for A grader trades anymore).
Ooc at end of 2026 if he continues on his current track it would cost 3 first rounders I reckon with 2 in the top 10 and 1 in the top 5. Unless the receiving team sends a star back the other way. I reckon he stays at the Eagles until FA because it will be too hard to find a club prepared to spend the capital.

I've got West Coast in front but only marginally. It is as close to win/ win as you can get.Judd, Armfield
Kennedy, Masten, Notte
