Now with Luko heading to Port, does Perryman still land at Port? Where does Isaac Cumming go?

He is certainly a big upgrade on our VFL level midfielders in Long, Sullivan, Macrae and Bytel. Good age for us as well and I can see him pushing out Mitchell who has had foot issues for most of 2024. We would see him as a midfielder which would be more of an issue at Port and even more so at GWS.

If he is desperate to play midfield, he would be absolutely insane to join Port or Hawthorn if you ask me. From the teams available its gotta be Collingwood to choose. They need to replace Pendles long term and in the short term I think Perryman can get enough minutes by moving Crisp to a wing/HB where I think he is better suited anyway

I know on talent the big 3 probably have it over him but i think the port midfield maybe due for bit of a change after last few finals campaign. like starting horne francis forward? or rozee hb more?

Curious as to why Hawthorn aren't said to be involved here still.

Priced out by other bids? Go back a few weeks before Collingwood were said to be involved, it sounded like the Hawks were in the box seat with a roughly 5 year 650k/y deal.

Now it's creeped up to 850k from port and the Pies? Pretty wild.

Money wouldn't be an issue for the Hawks given its reported they were the ones who offered the 12m for 8 years deal to Mac Andrew that forced the suns hand.

Probably because you are prioritising 2 key defenders. ;)
