Has there ever been an Asian AFL football player?

I'm pretty sure I read a quote from Peter Matera that they had chinese blood as well.
Thats news to me.

I heard him interviewed when he made the Italian team of the century and the interviewers brought up the fact that he made the Aboriginal team of the century as well, to which he replied "yeah I'm a Ding-origine"

I remember an indian kid drafted named Balraj Singh.

He didn't debut though I think.

Adelaide had a player of Indian decent called Sudjai Cook in the late 90s...

Vietnamese or Thai - there is some conjecture over his ethnicity in that regard - but definitely not Indian. You're probably thinking of Balraj Singh.

Hmmmm yeah there hasn't been really any full asians yet. It'll be very interesting when they come in though.....
hehe and funny too

Don't think it'll be too far away though rite?
maybe next couple of yrs

iaccaboci? what ever his name was, the delisted collingwood guy

i don't reckon too many full Asians can be good at AFL, the height and stuff, unless they are like extremely fast or has superb kicking skills or something like that
