according to this - sorry to start a separate thread from the Sandi one, but it looks like the club is going to put them together at a presser on Monday afternoon.

I love the short one - he's been fantastic for us, particularly against the team that shall not be named.

lol. Hackdork article

The veteran midfielder and handy sharp-shooter is battling a calf strain behind his knee, but expects to be fit for Friday's virtual qualifying final.

Where the hell else is your calf!

Would'nt surprise me that this is it for him (season). I nice added players' incentive to rip Carltank apart.

"He is certain to emerge as a specialist coaching candidate at West Coast surfaces at the embattled Eagles start what is tipped to be a significant turnover of support staff after a third successive season out of finals."
What the???

If Hase doesn't retire and is given a new contract, we should heap scorn on Hagdorn every chance we get.

Every time he appears on PR for example, we should just swamp the airwaves with calls pointing out how often he gets it wrong.

Direct action, I say.

Currently in the kitchen feeding her face as usual, will be promoted to cow in a few kilos time

With Solomon, Webster, McManus, Longmire all performing roles for the club, we seem to be going somewhere. Solly's gone i'd love to see Haz take up some sort of role around the club. He is a one club man, hate to see him go the weagles.

What a great player. I reckon he has quite a few games left in him to be honest, but he has seen fit to pull the pin.

All the best in retirement Hase, though I won't miss you putting us to the sword every bloody derby :)

Bugger. That knee of his was holding him back big time, he wasn't the paciest of players at best but being slowed down just slightly meant the game passed him by way too soon.

One player I would've loved to see with a premiership medallion but who knows? We're in the finals so anything is possible.

Really, really sorry to see Haze hang up his playing boots.
Our first Rising Star winner, Haze will be sorely missed.
Hope he will stay on in a coaching role... absolutely no way should he even consider going to the Evil Empire, he is a Freo boy through and through!

All the best Haze, it has been a pleasure watching you play!

a finals win on his way out would be very appropriate considering he missed most of the 06 finals series. hopefully this gives us a little bit extra going into friday night.

my all time favourite (excluding clive) player, we'll miss you haze.

Aww man :(

We lose on Friday and it will be a terrible send-off for the Great Man, let's do it for Hase boys!!!

Possibly my favourite ever Freo player and he deserves to play in one winning final.

Possibly my favourite ever Freo player and he deserves to play in one more winning final.

He hasn't played in a winning final - he was injured for our semi-final (and PF) back in 2006. He's just played the two - both losing - finals. :(

Gutted. Thought he could go around next year....he's pretty handy popping up around the forward line and kicking a few goals.

Ah well, thanks for everything Hase. Hopefully the boys have a real go in the finals to send him off.
