I have never cheered so hard for a team that I dont support (other than who is playing the Bombers :D). Well done Suns.

Any one else had this experience?

Picked up the Suns as my second team at the start of the season and have been hoping to watch them finally win one. Didn't expect it so early in the season and I was cheering so much by the end of the final quarter. Heart was racing when it came down to the final kick after the siren and would have been so disappointed if they had lost. One of those moments I am glad I watched live and won't forget anytime soon.

No, never! I was up and about screaming and jumping on the couch!

As soon as Bennell kicked that second grubber with minutes to go I wanted Port to win just to teach him that it is completely unnecessary. He did it twice, hard to believe.

I didn't need to cheer, watching Port when they can't be bothered to try can be like watching a road accident in action, it is going to be ugly but you can't look away.

Only Port could go from 40 points up expecting to cruise home by 15+ goals to losing in a cliffhanger with missing the last kick on goal after the siren to save some credibility.

Has been quite a while. Especially they came from 40 points down... something weird is happening at AAMI.

Such a stupid move, literally could have cost them the game. I was close to making a roast thread over on the GC board but considering its their first win may as well let their good times roll.

No. Bloody tipping.

During a regular season match? Probably not. During grand finals, definitely. Cant watch it without emotion. Cheered massively for the Saints last year, Geelong the 3 years before...

I was shouting at the TV. Go Gold Coast !!!!

Ohhh when Westoff took the mark i went "OOOhhhhhhhhhh NOOOO"

And then as the kick went off to the right and only scored one pt I went ...

"YESSSSSSS!!!!!!" :thumbsu: :D

and then started to do this....

Pretty much my reaction exactly

Lost my tipping point, but couldn't care less

Just need me to lose my Crows tip today and it will be a great Saturday

My Wife asked me what I was yelling about and said 'I thought your game was on Tuesday'

Today was one of the reasons I love Aussie Rules :)

I love football and have no problem cheering very hard for any team depending on the circumstances. For some reason, I was cheering very hard for Carlton against Adelaide back in 2004 (doesn't seem that long ago) when Fevola kicked 7 including an incredible goal from the boundary to take the lead late in the last quarter.
