Have you ever cheered so hard for an opposition team?

Didn't watch the game but was shocked and disgusted when I saw the result. I was hoping they would go 0-22 with a percentage of 30 or so. **** the Suns.

No, I dont mind Port as a club and they are not deserving of such ridicule. A more fitting and deserving victim would have been Carlton or Melbourne imo.

When the siren went I performed a bit of a victory dance in my lounge room.

I've never done that before in my life over an opposition side.

it really was great fun & would have been a tragedy of sorts if Westoff had kicked the winner

& here I was thinking that next week was supposed to be an easy 4 points....

I have. Collingwood in both of last years Grand Finals and Thursday night for the Bad News Bears.

Only problem was is that today's result has knocked me out of the Last Man Standing. I'm sure I wouldn't have been the lone ranger.

I wonder if you will all be cheering in a couple of years time when they start toweling up all the other teams and win two or three grand finals in a row?

Don't think anyone would have the Suns in their tipping:D

I feel sure we have cheered loudly in the past, but it wouldn't have beaten the screaming at the t.v we were doing that last couple of minutes today for the Suns....and when the port player marked the ball, OMG, it was a unified NO!!!.....and then a scream of elation for the SUNS boys when he missed!

We, as a group consisted of a Lion, Saint and 2 Cats....all very happy to see them win their 1st game...

I am now looking forward to being at Carrara at the opening match at their new stadium in late May against the Cats....I'll be with my Cats son, so not sure who I will be barracking for on the night...won't be popular if I cheer on the Suns, but gee I just might have too!:p

F*** I forgot about that!! Ah well, was awesome to watch. The only other times I've cheered like that for an opposition side was for Brisbane during their 2001-2004 Grand Finals.

Enjoy it Suns

GCS was $11.00 at the start of this game....I smell a fix
Some live sites had them at 100.00 half way through the 3rd quarter.

Was a great comeback, but it was a great example of how shit the sub rule is if a team gets more then one injury.

Once Braodbent went down close to 3/4 time, the game changed, Port panicked and Gold Coast smelt a chance.

Great for the AFL, AD and AA would have been doing backflips (probably while in bed together).;)

I was going for Port. :D Don't have much time for the Suns.

But the loudest I've cheered for a opposition side was Geelong in the 2009 GF. Lost my sh*t for that deciding Chapman play like many Cats supporters did.

@ all the BF members cheering against us in GF1 & GF2.

Hey guess what....

WE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Makes the victory was in the end even more sweet, and who cares if we took 2 tries.
