You're revising history, with the benefit of hindsight.
If you look at the response on this board you'll see big reactions to each of those.

So if think we'd have kept kennedy if we thought he had upside - could the same be true of Burton?
Pick 15 and Burto was too much, he is going to be a v good player.

So is the deadline Friday where you can trade picks ? If so can we trade future picks and try get back into this years draft ?

If Scully cna get back to full fitness and ability, we don't need any more mids. JOM, Mitchell Wingard, Scully, Worpel and a few prospects on our list thats enough. There's a few KPP we can target and should be the main focus.
Yes i agree i would love to know which kpp targets are available next year.

Yes sorry that did not happen. Yours and other’s cynicism and sarcasm has been noted.

I know I will fight a losing battle, a battle I can’t win and frankly dont give a flying f..k !!

I will lament B.B., I am sure GW and the HFC will lament the control over the agenda they would have had, had his decision been different.

Ben is a bloke of enormous character, has been an impeccable individual since he became a part of the HFC family.
Now we can look forward to him playing another two games to guarantee a future legacy for him and the HFC.
I would love to know what their agenda was if Big Boy did move on.

Yep, huge thanks to TylerDurden, halfback dasher and Topiary for their efforts over the period.

Not sure you guys realise how much we appreciate your information and inside knowledge. It’s bloody awesome.

I wouldn’t blame you for not sharing your knowledge from this point on based on the amount of turds that question your information.

Please keep sharing though because the majority of us absolutely love your work!

What a bloody rollercoaster it's been, especially the last week.
Rapt with our pick ups. Just can't wait to see Wingard, Scully strutting their stuff in the Poo and Wee. Scrimshaw, fingers crossed, will be our next Birchall.
And I gotta thank the ITK guys too. Loved your work.

What a ride this thread has been, sorry for my bitching and moaning at times people just get caught up in the moment at times. Thanks to all the ITK who give their information as it comes to hand. Overall very happy with our additions this trade period, I think we can all admit that Burto was someone we ideally didn't want to lose but we simply valued getting Chad as more important. All in all I give this trade period 8/10.

We've recently brought in O'Meara, Mitchell, Wingard, Scully and Impey.

Shit that's good.
Throw on top of that the emergence to potential elite of Jame Sicily and Blake Hardwick, and the great early signs of Worpel and Morrison - it's been a good period for the list.

If some key position players can emerge in the year ahead, we're laughing.

Another great trade period for Hawthorn. A bunch of teams gunning for our spot in the top 4 have also improved their lists over this trade period, so hopefully the team has a massive pre-season, Scully's ankle rehab isn't too lengthy and we have a huge crack at next year. Plenty of improvement left in the least experienced in our best 22 so doesn't have to be all down to the recruits to lift us up.

Very optimistic about Wingard after seeing the interview with him posted a few pages back. Seems very keen to take his game to the next level.

This is the concern.
I really like Brand, many don't.
We'll need a spot in the 22 dedicated to giving Nash or Lewis the time to make mistakes, get exposure and improve.

Or get Ben Brown in next year's trade period.

Yes i agree i would love to know which kpp targets are available next year.
Sam Weideman, Aaron Francis, Peter Wright, Adam Tomlinson, Harrison Himmelberg, Nick Haynes, Majak Daw and Tom Barrass are all out of contract and fair bit of talent there, also Oscar McDonald is out of contract the following year and might be gettable.

Barrass and Haynes as our backs and Weideman forward would be my dream.

Quite clearly leadership and solidity - two things they are seriously bereft of given their co-captains are now at other clubs.

I believe McEvoy had an exceptional offer in front of him, a superannuation offer and he deserved every single cent of it if he took it, but he didn't.

That's the agenda my friend - nothing less, nothing more - thery wanted to build a side around him, he wanted to stay at Hawthorn.
