You think wanting good governance and transparency is political?I know a lot here don’t like Jeff, whether your a left wing lunatic or right wing, liberal or labour. But, I reckon we would be shooting our selves in the foot I’d we vote against the board endorsed people. Like Jeff says, Gowers has offered no improvements or point of difference to the current board, who by the way have got Hawthorn in the best position it has ever been. It just seems a political conflict to be honest. The Hawks for change don’t like Jeff and I believe it would be a huge mistake voting these guys in.
The responses to the tweet and Facebook posts are quite telling.Another email using club resources. Sounding quite desperate.
My bad didn't see the double up. Makes more sense now that Ian Silk's signature is also in the same location as the president.....

Na I just appreciate where the club is at off the field. Never been in a better position. Jeff is polarising, but so what. He has Hawthorns interest at heart at all times. Rather some one like him in charge to stand their ground against all the crap that gets dished around these days. Hope your not one of the morons that say we should park “the family club “ moniker all because ofYou drank the Jeff Koolaid, good for you.

Unfounded malicious accusations that happened 8 years ago that no one had ever known about. Funny that
It’s a hard decision, but I still want Hudson on the board for sure.Ok, it's Gowers, Sill, Merlino and Hudson for me.
Maria Lui perhaps next year if she re-nominates.
I was open to Nank until the past few weeks. The whole thing reeks now, certainly with the way JK has behaved, but also the fact no one can rein him and the use of the club banner to seemingly undermine the democratic process. Red flags everywhere. The discontent I have starts and finishes with JK so with him going I'll be comfortable with whatever the final outcome is. For the record I'll be voting for Gowers, Hudson, Pellizer and Lui.
Well put. The current administration thinking the club belongs to them, not the members.I was open to Nank until the past few weeks. Cost us $15m.
The club reading the room once again with these official branded endorsements. Is this normal?
In my view JK going is the critical element in getting State Govt funding.A question for those more in the know than me. I really don't want to vote for Merlino but I will put my principles aside this one time if that is what it takes to get $15mil from the government. Do people think that we will get the $15m if Merlino is on the board? And, do people think we will still get the $15m if he isn't but Jeff is gone? Because, if it is more just a matter of Jeff being gone then I will vote for other candidates.
