I know a lot here don’t like Jeff, whether your a left wing lunatic or right wing, liberal or labour. But, I reckon we would be shooting our selves in the foot I’d we vote against the board endorsed people. Like Jeff says, Gowers has offered no improvements or point of difference to the current board, who by the way have got Hawthorn in the best position it has ever been. It just seems a political conflict to be honest. The Hawks for change don’t like Jeff and I believe it would be a huge mistake voting these guys in.

Jeff mouths off at the AFL. Does us no favours.
Jeff mouths off about other clubs. Again, no favours.

Jeff says dumb shit to the Rioli’s. They want nothing to do with us.
Jeff drunk tweets abuse at the state government. Every other club gets funding, but Hawthorn.
Jeff drunk tweets about the other candidates, then uses club channels to circulate propaganda about only his endorsed candidates to be fit for such roles.

Don’t be naive enough to conclude that the board and those involved with it can’t succeed or work towards an even stronger position without following the direction of an out of touch relic like Kennett.

I don’t even mind Nank, but the board clearly needs change.

The discontent I have starts and finishes with JK so with him going I'll be comfortable with whatever the final outcome is. For the record I'll be voting for Gowers, Hudson, Pellizer and Lui.

I haven't heard a peep from any current board member distancing themselves from Kennett's destructive behaviour, so they've all failed the test I'm afraid.

I was open to Nank until the past few weeks. The whole thing reeks now, certainly with the way JK has behaved, but also the fact no one can rein him and the use of the club banner to seemingly undermine the democratic process. Red flags everywhere.

To be honest was hoping Silk would break out and back some of the Hawks for Change candidates and Gowers who in turn had backed him in the year before.

HawkTalk pod has had all candidates on their airwaves, but they’re clearly not impressed by how the club is handling this.

Not sure how many are similar - but every bloody propagandist email to the membership base has only made me more and more inclined to vote for Gowers. The club infrastructure should not be used to spruik for those with the advantage of incumbency and there should be a 'caretaker mode' initiated when there is an open challenge to board positions like this.
