And aren’t we slap in the middle of the period when Gold Coast and the giants would be dividing all the spoils?

Unfortunately O'R-A, I am guilty of having to Google "Shellac" to discover it is not nail polish product but a band containing Steve Albini (who I am aware of as a record producer of some of my favorite albums). I suspect Rohan probably does know of them - he seems to have a pretty good/wide awareness of rock music.

Email him about it - if he can write back I am sure he will.

I think if we looked back we'd find the majority of those negative posters aren't around now mainly because of our success, and their half empty glasses waiting to be emptied.

I know Clarko got his fair share in 2006, but to be fair we didn't know him then. He was an angry little man with no plan B, now he is arguably one of the best ever.

For mine it was pretty obvious we had too much talent to go a full rebuild, the competition evening up is a factor too, the predicted Gold Coast and giants domination not eventuating (not yet anyway)

I still think a lot of people inside and out were saying how do we replace the losses from the 12-15 team. But that was a threepeat team which turned in back to back grand final thrashing’s (very rare) you simply don’t need to replace to that level to be a premiership contender, or one which can pinch one like in 91 or 08

I would suggest bad administration (GCS) and bad luck with injuries have impeded the progress of the these clubs.

Would love to knock tigers in the same way we did Geelong in 2008.
