It's certainly not for the regular crashing, no history and wonky search!

I thought it was the worst streaming platform imaginable until we were able to get NBN and now it's 95% perfect.

The only issue now is that you get an occasional steam issue where you need to reinstall the app, but that takes all of 20 seconds to rectify.

I'm on FTTP, but I still get about 1 crash per "AFL game viewing time". Replay seems more stable than live, but still get it with replays, which makes the no history more annoying to find what it was and where you were up to.

As you suggest, it's far from the biggest problem in the world. Just irritating when it happens at a moment of peak excitement.

Yerp, FTTP here as well and I still have problems completely unrelated to internet quality.

Looking forward to seeing how our young midfielders go against their premiership midfield.
They are on a hiding to nothing.

Do well and we’ll read that Geelong took it easy.
Do poorly and it will prove that they’re not up to it.

I have 5G Home Internet (consistent DL speeds >300Mbps and Upload ~30Mbps) and still have Kayo streaming and crashing issues.
I have FTTP up here in NSW but I don't seem to have the issue to the degree that everyone else has mentioned here. Maybe a drop out every now and then but nothing too different from say from the NBA app.

Glass half empty today is it?
You'll see with your own eyes how hard Geelong goes at it. Make the call after that.
If anyone is judging if they aren't up to it after a practice hit out, then they can't be helped.

You’re new around here I take it.

What do you watch Kayo on?
Ever since I switched to a Shield, I've had zero issues with streams cutting out or the app crashing. Perhaps the app is poorly optimised which wouldn't be surprising.

Important piece of information for those driving the kids must play ahead of experienced players. It will be interesting Round 1 team

It's fairly exciting, to be honest. I like the idea of really emphasising that players need to perform to retain their spot and that games must be earned.

We've had issues in the recent past where it felt like young players knew they couldn't break into the team, and when they did get a go through injury to the incumbents, they played like they knew they were keeping the spot warm for the returning player. That was part of the late Clarko legacy IMO.

Now we're in a position where there are so few locks, which means we've got a depth of players that can all play with the drive of fighting for a spot.

Yep but it also means that players like Morrison will retain his spot

It doesn’t necessarily mean that. He’s still got to perform better than others.

I never use the kayo app, only use the normal web browser, never have any problem 😉.

Of course, and from what I have seen he is. If he is superseded, it only means good things for us.

Last year in the equivalent six period practice match against the pies, Kayo cut the stream after four quarters so we never got to see the final two live.

Hopefully they are ready for the longer game.
They came back for the last 15 minutes

could be right, doesn't seem as bad when viewing on smart TV (Android), but worse when casting from (android) phone or laptop.
