I don't think the football world gives Clarkson the credit he deserves for luring Brian Lake over.

Maybe only Bulldogs fans can appreciate this. I know he does some clownish stuff on the field, and looks a bit laid back at times. But you put a bloke like that in the backline and he changes everything. When he changes gear and moves away with the ball he is the coolest of cats.

Loved him taking Ballantyne to the other end.

He's his own man. He doesn't seem to care too much about power forwards, small forwards, coaches orders.....he always tries to take the mark and then take his man on.

He's been doing this for years. If Scarlett was the better FB he had a lot more help around him.
